After [[Micah Sanders\|Micah's]] [[technopathy\|broadcast]], Emily approaches [[Tommy Clark\|Tommy]], asking if he's really going to keep working with [[Erica Kravid]] after what they just learned. However, Tommy tells her that [[the H.E.L.E.]] is coming and they have to save as many people as they can. Tommy notices that Emily is not wearing her [[transport watch]] and Emily explains that she hasn't gotten it yet. Tommy tells her to make sure to get it "just in case" and leaves. A worried Emily tries to follow but is blocked by two guards.

	Later, [[Ren Shimosawa]] finds Emily crying on a bench and asks her what's wrong. Emily tells him that she's afraid her friend is about to make a terrible mistake and Ren tells her he's on a quest to "find the [[space-time manipulation\|Master of Time and Space]]." Cheering up a bit, Emily tells Ren "dude, I'm dating him." The two decide to find Tommy and try to keep him from making a mistake.		Later, [[Ren Shimosawa]] finds Emily crying on a bench and asks her what's wrong. The two enter the elevator, but are unable to access it. Ren realizes that an indent in a knob is similar to [[symbol necklace\|a necklace]] [[Hachiro Otomo (construct)\|a construct]] of Hachiro Otomo had given him and tries it in the elevator. To their relief, the elevator then takes them down to the core where they find Hachiro and watch in horror as he uploads Tommy into the [[Eternal Fortress]] before being sedated. 			In the convention center of the present-day [[Gateway]], [[Tommy Clark\|Tommy]] finds Emily at a vending machine and is relieved to see her and [[Anne Clark\|his mother]] who is with her. Emily and Anne tell Tommy that they had to flee [[Carbondale, IL\|Carbondale]] after an electrical storm caused a fire. Erica tells them that she had them evacuated to Gateway as Tommy wanted it and Emily watches, uneasy, as Anne asks Erica for answers and Erica promises to send Tommy back with them. Before leaving with Erica, Tommy kisses Emily on the cheek as a goodbye.

			Later that night, Emily stands next to Tommy and Anne as [[Micah Sanders]] [[technopathy\|makes a broadcast]] exonerating [[Mohinder Suresh]] for his role in the [[Odessa Unity Summit]] bombing and exposing Erica Kravid as the true perpetrator.
