Sylar enters the apartment unnoticed and surprises Tom. Tom warns Sylar that he can hurt him, but Sylar knows that he has an ability and explains that he does too. Tom asks why [[Danko's team\|they]] are hunting [[evolved humans]] and Sylar responds that people are afraid of them. He then asks Tom to demonstrate his power, and watches as Tom [[~~Tom's ability~~\|disintegrates]] a porcelain figurine. Sylar tells him he must choose a side, Sylar or the agents, and Tom chooses Sylar. Sylar then raises his finger and begins to [[telekinesis\|cut into his skull]].
