Having been captured by [[Captain Dearing]] and subsequently escaped, [[Fiona]] returns to the hideout and meets with her fellow runaway evos. [[Carlos]], dressed as [[El Vengador]], arrives to let them know that Dearing had placed a tracker on Fiona. The evos grab their belongings and flee the warehouse. Soon, Dearing arrives to capture the evos, but finds El Vengador instead. The two engage in combat, and Dearing surprises Carlos with his [[enhanced strength|superhuman strength]]. Carlos is knocked out of a second floor window and barely escapes with his life.
