	At Kirby Plaza on the night of November 8th, all of the heroes converge to stop Sylar from exploding and causing this future. Matt, Noah, Niki, Peter and Hiro do battle with him and Sylar is finally defeated by Peter and Hiro and seriously wounded by Hiro. However, Peter's anger causes him to tap into his copy of [[induced radioactivity\|Ted's power]] and he's unable to stop it and starts to go nuclear which would still cause this future to happen. Peter has Claire shoot him which would stop the explosion, however before she can, Nathan shows up having chosen to help out and knows of another way to stop things. Peter is reluctant, but Nathan gets him to agree and flies Peter high into the sky. Peter goes nuclear and explodes high in the sky, but is far enough away to cause no damage to New York City, changing the future.
