This first part could be a dream Anna has of what she doesn't want happen or a flashback to a time before the bridge incident where she thought she had helped Red Eye kill them all off but they really had just gone unconscious (aren't they wearing armor in the iStory?). 	Great novel, and I can't express my love (ah, well...) for To's art! All though I haven't followed the iStories, I think the novel works great without that insight. And a good exit for the Squad as well!
