But when agent Simmons pulls out the nails in his hands that were stuck in the chair, Luke pushes Sylar out of the way, microwaving Simmons killing him. As Sylar is leaving on the search for his father, Luke suggests he come with him, as they are alike, and thaat Luke will take his mother's car.
