	Samir, whom [[Daphne]] first describes as the Moroccan, enlists the help of [[Daphne]] to steal items from museums and bring them to [[Samir Mellouk's shop\|his shop]] so he can sell it to the country it originally came from. She duly does so in [[enhanced speed\|no time at all]], before heading to the [[Louvre]] and spotting the ''[[Mona Lisa]]''. She asks Samir for his help in stealing the painting, and he holds on to her arm as she uses [[enhanced speed\|her ability]] to enter the Louvre and switch the ''Mona Lisa'' with a fake. After taking the painting, Daphne asks Samir if he wants a lift home, but he declines, saying he'll walk instead. Walking down an alleyway, he is met by [[Hartsdale clone\|Julien]] and [[Sabine]], who say they've been watching him and he should go with them. To escape, he [[phasing\|phases]] through the floor. Julien catches up with him, and Samir phases through his body, but another Julien clone hits Samir hard in the face, breaking one of his teeth.
