	When I first watched Heroes (getting caught up on DVD before the 2nd season), one theme that seemed to be always popping up again was "Specialness vs. normalcy." Sylar kills people in an eternal quest to be the 'most special;' this quest for specialness is pushed for by his mother. In contrast, Claire finds that she is special but works viciously to be the opposite: normal. HRG also sacrifices much for the sake of Claire's normalcy. However, in the end, Claire accepts her specialness while Sylar (in the scene with his mother) tries to be normal. Certainly there are other examples (Peter wanting to be special and Nathan wanting to be normal, just to name a few), but I think there's enough to make a 'theme' page for this.
