Personally, I think that, with the exception of [[Blindsided]] and maybe the Hana-Drucker storyline, most of those GNs written between [[The Ten Brides of Takezo Kensei]] and the [[User:SacValleyDweller/Release_Order_Optimized#Company arc (April 14-?????)\|Company arc]] were just filler, and a somwhere between fanfic and what this place calls [[Canon#Near-Canon\|near-canon]]. They were probably written during the strike without any oversight by Kring and co., so they mainly did things that could have no bearing on the storyline unless Kring and co. wanted them to when they got back into the drivers seat.
