Tarah has been dancing, singing, and doing gymnastics since she was four years old. At six, she scored silver in the all-around portion of the United States Gymnastics Federation competition, and was a national champion at nine with her acro-dance number at The "Starr" Nationals. Years of dancing, vocals, and gymnastics won her many more titles, trophies, and awards. In 1996, the year she was inducted into the National Honor Society, she also filmed ''The Postman''. At the 1996 Nationals, Tarah won the silver medal on floor, the bronze medal on the balance beam, and placed sixth in the all-around. A few years later, she qualified for the U.S. National Championships and was ranked eighteenth in the nation (out of about 200,000 gymnasts). She won the bronze medal on the balance beam at 2001 Nationals.
