Some characters had their abilities evolved in a way they can do many seemingly unrelated things.

[[Sylar]] and [[Samson Gray]] possess the ability of intuitive aptitude, which allows them to understand how everything works and absorb abilities of the others.

But as he grew powerful and as [[Usutu]] opened it up more to the "dreamtime", he began to access that same plane of consciousness that [[Isaac]] and Usutu drew from to paint."

* In 2007, an [[Agent (electric manipulation)|agent]] was shown to levitate and create electricity. It is unclear if his levitating ability evolved into shooting lightnings, or vice versa.

* All evolved humans above are listed as having one main ability. Seeing how the same abilities can have different versions, it raises a question whether their possessors should be listed as having multiple abilities, or if each version should be considered as a different ability, or if these are simply the examples of [[ability development]].
