Joana trained her ability almost every day. She claims she can absorb energy from other human beings, not necessairly killing them, but to enhance her own energy, in order to go days without food or sleep. However, she cannot absorb the energy she creates; for an example: she once created a small energy sphere, but couldn't channel its energy into her. Therefore, this could mean she doesn't waste her own energy on her power, but instead, creates energy out of nowhere.
