James, Michael and Jenny try to find some information about Shanti Suresh.

==Synopsis==
Christmas was coming. One morning in mid-December, [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Manaj's School For The Superpowerdly Gifted|Manaj's]] woke to find itself covered in several feet of snow. The lake was froze solid. No one could wait for the holidays to start. While the [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Manaj Houses|Bennet]] commonroom had a roaring fire, the corridors become icy and a bitter wind rattled the windows in the classrooms. Worst of all [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/James Connol|James]] had [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Debras Sky|miss Sky]].
'I do feel so sorry' said [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Tom Johnson|Tom Johnson]], one Medicine class, 'For all the people who have to stay here for Christmas because they're not wanted at home.'
He was looking over at James as he spoke. [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Martian Welsh|Martian]] and [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Alice Porter|Alice]] chuckled. James, who was measuring out powdered jelly fish and chopped pine bark, ignored them. It was true that James wasn't going back to his mother for Christmas. [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Malcome King|Mr King]] had come round the week before, making a list of students who would be staying for the holidays. [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Michael Sham|Michael]] and [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Stacy Sham|Stacy]] were staying too, because Mr and Mrs Sham were going away for Christmas.
When they left the classroom at the end of Medicine Studies, they found a large tray full of food blocking the corridor ahead and the head cook, [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Donna Caff|Donna Caff]] was behind it.
'Hi, Donna, need any help?' Michael asked.
'Nah, I'm all right thanks, hun,' said Donna 'But, tell yeh what, come with me an' see the Hall.'
So James, Michael and [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Jenny Scarlet|Jenny]] followed Donna off to the Hall, where mr King and [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Pamala Marbloss|mrs Marbloss]] were busy with the Christmas decorations.
The Hall looked spectacular. Holly and mistletoe, which mrs Marbloss had [[User:Mike Mike Mike/Years Of School/Plant Growth|made]] hung all around the walls and no fewer than ten huge Christmas trees stood around the room, some sparkling with tiny icicles, some glittering with hundreds of candles. 'So, how many days you got left until you're holidays?' Donna asked.
'Just one,' said Jenny. 'And that reminds me - James, Michael, we've got half an hour before lunch, we should head the library.'
'We should?' said Michael, tearing his eyes away from mrs Marbloss, who had amazing plants blossoming out of her hands and was trailing them over branches of a new tree.
'The library?' said Donna 'Oh well, have fun.' She gave a quick smile and toddled away.

'Jenny? Why are we going the library?' asked Michael sulking.
'There is something I want to look up. Find me a book with the name Shanti Suresh.'
Jenny took out a list of subjects and titles she had decided to search while Michael strode off down a row of books and started pulling them off the shelves at random. James wandered over to the Restricted Section. He had been wondering for a while if Suresh wasn't somewhere in there. Unfortunately, you needed a specially signed note from one of the teachers to look in any of the restricted books and he knew he'd never get one.
'What are you looking for, boy?'
'Nothing,' said James.

'You'd better get out, then. Go on!'
James left the library. He, Michael and Jenny had already agreed that Shanti Suresh must be somewere in the Restricted Section. 'You better keep looking while I'm away won't you?' said Jenny.
