			** One might could argue it's more of an artistic motif than one for a particular superhero character. The image in question echoes Frank Miller's style a bit. However, it's more a classic generic pose. I call it the Gargoyle. Pretty much any time an artist wants to show the hero keeping vigil over the city, this is a way of conveying that. Nightwing (DC's Dick Grayson post Robin) has been like this before. Daredevil (Marvel) has been posed like this a lot in various angles over the years, and other heroes. The Huntress, again from DC, comes to mind. BatGirl had a similar pose during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, drawn by George Perez back in 1985. Spider-Man's been like this too. However, in the image in question, he's not keeping vigil over anything. So the classic pose doesn't carry the weight it could. DL's not taking on any mantle. He's not dedicating himself to saving anybody. He's just surviving. So I was thinking of somehow doing a checklist of things that need to be done when a new article is added. For instance, when somebody adds a location, they should update [[Portal:Locations]] and [[Template:Location]]. When somebody adds a Graphic Novel Character, they should update [[Portal:Graphic Novel Characters]] and [[Template:GNcharacternav]] ... You get my point. Any thoughts on where such a checklist might go? ** I love it! I've been wanting to do that since I first read about Heroes, even before I ever caught an episode. (Yes, I'm a latecomer to the show - I've actually still never seen Genesis all the way through.) I especially like the idea for the portal page - makes the most amount of sense there. As for the Season One page, I kind of like that it's a list of all the episodes, albeit a bit long (and growing). Splitting the eps is a bit of dangerous ground - it's not really canonical, and there's no guarantee that eps will continue in arcs as such ... But I say let's go for it - we'll cross problematic bridges as we come to them. I'm not opposed to changing the layout of Season One - just not sure it's the ''best'' place for it. ***What image editor do you use? Most show the coordinates of your selection box in the status bar. They start with the upper left corner, which is what we need, and display either the bottom right coordinates or the size of the selection, which you don't need. (You can, of course, fudge it like Locationmap, but it can take seemigly hours to get them lined up exactly, which is No Fun At All. So I just made small change to the minor characters portal, and I then had to go back on all 4 minor character portals and update the portalCharacterSmall navigations on the bottom. Maybe it's not worth it, but I thought it'd be easier if that were just a simple template in the bottom. That way we could just update one template, and they all fix themselves. == "The email" Thing ==

This isn't about those email notification problems I am having.

I did not know until earlier today, when Ryangibsonstewart told me, that I was breaking redirects by changing the capitalization of the sections title. I am not an experienced MediaWiki Contributor (my previous experience was correcting blatantly incorrect text in Wikipedia).

The only reason is that a couple friends, who I was showing what I was contributing was pointing out that the uncapitalized entries were sticking out like a sore thumb when almost all of the entries are. They, not users of wikis directly, thought it looked sloppy, and I wouldn't go that far, but thought it an easy fix.

When I changed it and the whole discussion about which way the wiki winds would blow, no one brought up anything about changing redirects and breaking them. As for what the community wanted, every time I asked if it would be OK if I just capitalized the E, no matter what page I put it on, it wasn't answered, and half the time it was deleted without any email notice. From this I figured the only way to get a response one way or the other was just to do it.

Well now I have my answer, but still I assume that there is a way to format the markup like an internal link. If so, I think that the community or you should decide on a default formatting for titles that also redirect. Even if that default formatting is none (leave it as it is). Whatever the decision is it should be remarked in the markup someway so other contributers/editors like me don't put both you, other members and them through this again. Not unless they miss the remarks though.
