			**** I'm not sure if that's too much of a problem or not. But we have in general kind of been getting away from article series of late for just that reason. We used to have a template for Isaac's artwork, and it was kind of subsumed into [[:Category: Artwork]]. I have a feeling the same is going to happen with [[template:Research]] and [[:Category:Research]] soon enough, since they overlap 100%.
			::: The deal with the article series is that, once upon a time in the very early days of the Wiki, our category structure was much simpler. In fact, pretty much everything that wasn't a character, episode, or place was dumped into one big "plot points" category. As that got larger and larger, series bars became an easy way to link like articles. We didn't really have standardized navbars for everything yet, so there wasn't any duplication.
			::: Eventually, we started splitting things into more workable categories, and once we added the portals, we really started getting specific, making a lot of the series pretty superfluous. So now they're pretty much just relics. I think they still can be useful in some contexts, but they've largely been replaced by categories, and in fact the few remaining series bars are all (I think) tied to categories now.
			::: Which is not to say we can't or shouldn't have a series bar for this--it's just a brief overview of the history of the series bars.
