My keyboard-facilitated talk page orations can be things of brilliance, and my editing-for-flow skills hold their own, but I don't think my skills are at all good enough for creating summaries for characters like those suggested [[Heroes_Wiki_talk:Community_Portal#Prose|here]]. * When I've asked for help, they've been extremely helpful. But I honestly don't edit there too much (it's a fantastic wiki, but it's not my style), and don't have a lot of interaction with other users. I can say that we have a lot of "crossover" users ([[User:Ohmyn0|Ohmyn0]] and [[User:Lost Soul|Lost Soul]] come to mind), and I can tell you that ''they'' have been very friendly. Hey man,

I was just looking for reference for the next Heroes Webcomic, and came across your feature on me entitled "Chicken Legs"...It was pretty hilarious man! I definitely got a good laugh out of it. Lots of people have commented on the fact that I give my characters skinny ankles, and I've actually been thickening them up A BIT in the last couple things I've done, but I still like to exaggerate that, particularly on females:) Anyway, thanks for the laugh!

I'm thrilled each time a cast/crew member comes here to update the article we have about them. That's one of the great benefits we have over site like Wikipedia for instance where there's an innate tendency for them to not include (or even delete) information that comes from the people themselves simply because it needs to be cited from another source before they'll accept it. The fact that these people can search for themselves on a search engine and find an article about themselves here I think is flattering to them and also gives them incentive to help tweak their article. Since we give them a lot of leeway in determining what information they want published here about themselves without citing some policy about total inclusion of public information I think it encourages them to come here to help provide the most accurate information. == Recent photo afds ==
The recent photo afds come from graphic novels where I thought it was agreed okay to illustrate what happened in a location in images instead of adding them to their respective minor character articles, but recently you've removed those photos saying they no longer meet the purpose of displaying info. about said location. The Betty photos you just made afd I was originally going to use in a rumor/gossip theme article. And I think the Golden Handshake photo fits under the one-hit knockout theme. * I've only deleted duplicate images and former spoilers, I think. The "rumor" images don't illustrated [[Betty's high school]] and the GH images don't illustrate [[Paris hotel]]. I'm marking them for deletion because they're not really needed anywhere. If you find a spot for them, terrific. But I don't know of any location articles where we put images of events that happen in the location if the images don't illustrate the location. == Capitalization of "family" ==
I found this source from our US government that has a list of capitalization rules ( http://www.gpoaccess.gov/stylemanual/2000/chap03.pdf). In 3.2, the source refers to a "Macadam family" where the word "Macadam" is capitalized cause it's a proper name but "family" is not capitalized. This is a formal record of our US government. Is it wrong? * I'm glad you found that, I was having a hard time finding anything official. On all of our family disambig pages we've been capitalizing both the family name of course and the word "family" ("The Butler Family" as opposed to "The Butler family"). I was more trying to go with consistency and standardization than with any established rules since I couldn't find any. I watched the Terminator pilot, but didn't get into it. **** I'm not involved with the ''Terminator'' fans at all, I just really love the series. I had actually not seen the movies until this past weekend. I could go on and on about what intrigues me about the series. However, as far as starting a wiki for it, I'm not really a good judge of the merits of the show. I know I've looked up more things about the show on Wikia's ''Terminator'' site and on Wikipedia. All the time travel stuff can get confusing, and I like learning about the different models of terminators. However, I really don't know what the fan base is like. I know the show is getting rave reviews across the board, and the movies were very popular and successful. That, and Ah-nuld rocked his roles. But even if it's a good candidate for a wiki, which I can't really say objectively, I wouldn't be able to do it. I like to commit to [[Heroes Wiki|one thing]] and do my best at it. Plus, I'm going to be very busy pretty soon with [[:Image:Bun in the oven.jpg|a new baby]], directing a Boy Scout camp, and just having a busy life in general. Sorry...
