===Homecoming=== |
A shadowy figure stands in front of the trophy case at Union Wells High School, reading the newspaper clipping about Jackie Wilcox's award for supposedly rescuing the man from the train wreck. On his hand is a broken watch — it's Sylar. |
Later, the lights in the locker room suddenly go out and a shadowy figure passes by. Jackie protests as Claire attempts to lead her to safety, and suddenly Sylar grabs Jackie by the neck, pins her against a locker, and lifts her up in the air. Claire jumps on Sylar, but he throws her off and sends her flying into a wall. Jackie screams. Sylar covers Jackie's mouth and puts his finger in the air near her forehead. Suddenly there's a slicing noise and Jackie's skull is sliced open spraying blood everywhere. |
When Claire regenerates, Sylar realizes she's the one he's after, and slams her against he wall he had just threw her against. He started to slice her skull open but too slowly and her body began to repair itself. Sylar tried again faster and managed to take the top of Claire's skull off before it could regenerate, and immediately began to examine her brain. Minutes later Sylar had examined the brain and cut open his own arm using telekinesis, and it regenerated within minutes. |
As Sylar made his way out of the High School and climbed a nearby hill he saw Eden leaning against a tree. Upon seeing her he pauses momentarily before raising his hand. Surprised, he seems unable to use his powers. Using her ability, Eden tells Sylar that he doesn't want to hurt her and that they need to talk. She tells him to tell her all about himself, but first he needs to sleep. The Haitian catches Sylar off guard, and covers his eyes. Sylar then falls to the ground, unconscious. |
===Fallout=== |
At the Primatech Paper Co., Sylar is being held in a metal room within the secure medical facility; he is separated from an outer room by a glass security window. Eden enters the outer secure room under Noah's secret orders. Sylar tells her that he knows her; she responds she lived next door to Chandra Suresh. Sylar marvels over her power of persuasion. Eden uses her power and orders Sylar to die, as she had done to her stepmother years ago. However, unlike her stepmother, Sylar didn't simply die, instead he proves to be powerful enough to resist the demand and telekinetically pulls her through the security glass, shattering it. He grabs her by the throat and tells her that he's going to consume her power. Before she can kill herself he throws the gun out of her hand and begins opening her skull. Minutes later she's dead and Sylar has absorbed her ability |
Soon Company agents Gael Cruz and Bianca Karina burst into the room, but Sylar is waiting and slams them against the wall. Using his new-found power Sylar demands to know which one of the agents have an ability, to which they both point to Bianca. Sylar flippantly tells Gael to kill himself and demands Bianca tell him what her ability is. After doing so Sylar once again goes about opening her head and examining her brain, changing his DNA to absorb yet another ability. |
This added delay proved to be his downfall however when he felt his powers slip away once again as the Haitian had returned when the alarm was raised over Sylar's escape. When Noah entered the room he fired his entire clip into Sylar, which causes Sylar to die for the time being. |
===Godsend=== |
Sylar awakens to find himself in a new location, facing a wall with the number 5 on it. He finds himself tied to a chair with an IV in him, with two men looking in on him, both visibly cursing. Sylar smirked at them, knowing why they hated him. In response one of the agents stormed into the room and punched Sylar repeatedly until he was restrained, Sylar noted that one of the teeth that had been knocked out by the scuffle didn't regenerate. The agent who had calmed his partner told Sylar that he wouldn't be hurting anyone anymore. Behind the agent a scientist walks in and attaches more drips to Sylar, pumping more drugs into him and causing him to slump forward in a drugged state. |
===The Fix=== |
Despite superiors wishing to keep Sylar alive, a scientist informs the agents that Sylar had died from the sheer amount of drugs that had mixed in his body. When the agents enter the room Sylar's eyes flick open and in one movement his restraints were cast off and pointed at one of the agents chests, causing it to explode and killing the man instantly. The other agent pointed at Sylar and fired a blue laser at him, tearing through Sylar and even some of the wall behind him. However Sylar's regenerative ability allowed him to shrug the attack off and he pushed the agent to the wall, once again performing what had become his ritual and extracted the ability. |
Leaving the cell, Sylar looks around at the line of other rooms, sensing a variety of abilities for him to take he takes a deep breath and grins. |
