Until that day. |
Until that day. |
My teacher was rattling the same, boring stuff, when I noticed trails in the air. At first, I thought my glasses were smudged, but I then began to see writing on the chalkboard. It was a trail on the board that my teacher seemed to follow with the chalk. Apparently, I was the only one who noticed. Later that day, at lunch, the school bully spills my food over my table because I couldn't pay up. I could have sworn that an outline of his fist flew at me, right before his fist followed the outline. Normally, I would have had a bloody nose. Instead, It was the other way around. Fortunately, no teacher in my school with two brain cells thought that the out of shape kid could beat the school Hulk by a long shot. |

My teacher was rattling the same, boring stuff, and I was flicking at |
a sheet of paper, when, suddenly, I folded. Surprised, I flicked at |
it again. It unfolded. I tapped the desk. It began to fold. Interested, |
I made a few hand movements at it. It ended as a paper crane. Later, |
I levitated a pillow, ant threw it through a window. |
On another note, when I and my friend were chased by some thugs, I |
hotwired a car in 27 seconds. With a paperclip and paper scissors. |
A few days later, my friend begs and pleads with me to win back his money at a betting game. Some thugs, including the school bully, were there, and thought I hustled them when I won fifty bucks off of them. Shortly after, I found out that the 'special education' classes for the kids there, including my friend, were for people with powers, like me. My friend is a shapeshifter, and the school bully is actually super strong. |

===My Powers=== |
===My Powers=== |
'''Passive Precognition''' - Unlike Isaac Mendev's power to paint the future, my power is constantly at work. Even now, my power is active. I can see trails in the air of what is about to happen. I can see up to fifty-nine seconds without zoning out, but past five seconds, it loses its usefulness. |
'''Telekinesis''' - my technique is very advanced. I could probably |
spar Sylar, given the chance. |
'''Intuitive Aptitude''' - I can understand stuff quite well at a glance, and my power doesn't have the "curse" of hunting for more knowledge. The catch, it only cant turn on for one hour max at a time, and it recherges in real time: one second for one second. I hold my power on for one hour, and I can't utilize my power for one hour. Fortunately, I can turn my power on and off at will. Theoretically, this is how Sylar, a.k.a. Gabriel, learns to control his 'hunger'. During the fight between me and my future self, I learn how to compress the one hour into five minutes; exchange duration for power. With these, my ability to calculate, think, and use abilities is multiplied tenfold. The reason my future self can't do this: he no longer has the limiter, so he can't press it in. |
'''Telekinesis''' - I obtained this by compressing my intuitive aptitude. I used it to catch future Michael's blade in midair. I also used it to throw a chunk of a fallen pillar at him. |
===My Stuff=== |
These are my things, doodads, and gizmos and junk that I consider 'important. |
'''Dual Pistols''' - They are .22 caliber Rugers, if you want to know. Normally, a .22 isn't fatal, but this is ME we're talking about, remember? |
'''Lockpicking Kit''' - Because I can't always count on Wrench to open the door for me. |
'''Four Knives''' - Yes, I have four knives on me on every mission. The intricate design allows me to use them to parry bullets. |
'''My Watch''' - It's a Sylar... how ironic... it also lets me keep track of how far forward I'm looking into the future. |
'''My Sword''' - It is a katana, with images of different clock times along the flat of the blade, and on the pommel, and on the handguard. |
'''My NEW Sword''' - After my old one was shattered by Clock, the Company's forgers made a new one for me. This one is a shortsword, with an intricate design. It is made of an alloy only the forgers know how to make, and, because of the alloy, it can cut through steel like a hot knife through butter. |
===My Episodes=== |
NONE YET... sorry, please be patient with me, my first two episodes are in progress. |
Fortunately, I was able to come up with summaries of A handful. |
'''Episode Prologue- Generations''' - It isn't very long, so I'll summarize it: A man is seen, running though the woods. A pile of leaves rustles for a moment. The man turns around, and throws a smoke grenade. "Dammit..." He fires his gun twice into the trees. In the distance, a trail of blood can be seen. The trees rustle again, and a silhouette jumps across a tree. He drops his pistol. The silhouette leaps at him. He draws his blade, but too late. The sword flies out of the sheathe, and cuts of its arm. It then proceeds to eat the man. The creature's arm grows back. The camera closes in on the partly unsheathed blade, and a part of an image of a clock can be seen. The camera returns to the partly eaten man. Another man walks into the foresting. "Get off of him, before you splatter blood everywhere- we need to remove all evidence. The easy way." The creature steps off of the body, an the man opens a pocketwatch. "Na na naa na. Na na naa na. Hey, hey, hey." He points at the body. "Goodbye." The screen blackouts. |
'''Episode I- Mondays''' - Michael's power manifests itself. |
'''Episode II- Special Education''' - Alex introduces Michael to the Special Education classes. |
'''Episode III- Illogical''' - Michael questions all of the things he has seen in the Special Education classes. |
'''Episode IV- Scene of the Crime''' - Michael, Alex, and Gadget go to another school with a Special Education program. However, they arrive at the school to find that the building was blown to bits, and the only thing there not covered in soot is a single, open, silver pocketwatch. |
'''Episode V- The Test''' - Michael captures a Level 5 Escapee, but not before learning one of the Company's most dangerous secrets. |
'''Episode VI- Tick, Tock...''' - Michael, Gadget, and Wrench encounter the man that blew up the Company building: an ex- Company agent- codename Clock. |
'''Episode VII- Disbelief''' - Clock corners Michael in a room, traps Gadget and Wrench outside, and forces Michael... to listen to his story. |
'''Episode VIII- One Way Road''' - After Clock's escape, Michael follows leads... and finds his hideout- an abandoned railroad. There, he has a one-on-one battle with the "mastermind", Clock... |
'''Episode IX- Duct Tape''' - Gadget, Wrench, and Burns finds Michael at the railroad tracks, unconscious, and holding the hilt of a shattered blade. They return home, and have some forgers make him a new one... but he is reluctant to return to the battlefield... until Clock comes to the school. |
'''Episode X- Things that Go Boom!''' - It's the entire school against Clock, and a few other villains... as it turns out, Clock isn't really the mastermind... Who is? |
'''Episode XI- Time Bomb''' - Michael versus Clock again... but they're at a stalemate-if Clock tries anything, Michael will kill him, but if Michael tries anything, Clock will blow himself up... and the next mile around will go with him... All this while the rest of the school fights off a puppetmaster and a freakish experiment... |
'''Episode XII- Running from Fate''' - The enemy's retreated, and Michael and the gang follow... but the mastermind's true identity will really blow your mind... |
'''Episode XIII- End of the Road''' - It's quite a thriller; Gadget and Wrench versus Clock and the Puppetmaster, Burns and Alex versus the Experiment, and Glass introduces the mastermind to Michael... the mastermind... is Michael. |
'''Episode XIV- Deja Vu!''' - Michael tries to understand what happened to future Michael, while the fighting is coming to an end in the other rooms... |
'''Episode XV- Defiant Spirit''' - Michael versus Future Michael in the most spectacular battle ever... and neither of them move for nearly a minute... two passive precognitives make everything very boring... until the fighting actually starts... |
'''Episode XVI- Impossible''' - I'm going to only give you, the reader, this quote from future Michael towards the end of the battle, "How... How is it possible? Tactically, my past self should be far inferior to me, but he is besting me at every turn! How can this be?" ... Okay, so I promised to only give the one quote, but here is a bit of conversation in the room with the puppetmaster, Clock, Wrench, and Gadget; Puppetmaster: "I guess, I get two more puppets." Clock: (brings hand up to the puppetmaster's head, points at him) "You'd think so, huh?..." |
===Characters and Powers=== |
'''Michael''' - That's me! My powers are listed above. |
'''Alex''' - He's my friend, the one who 'lost the bet'. He can shapeshift, with a few bonuses, like being able to copy powers of the person he shapeshifts into, if he comes in contact with said person prior to his shift. |
''' 'Wrench' ''' - the school bully's nickname. He has a super strength factor; he can triple his strength factor (He multiplies his kinetic output by x5. I learned this when he tried to open me during lunch with his fist.) He hates my sorry guts, but only when I poke him the wrong way. |
''' 'Burns' ''' - one of the 'special education' students. His power is reflected by his nickname: pyrokinesis. He and I don't get along well; then again, he hates everyone, so, by his terms, I'm his friend. |
''' 'Gadget' ''' - another 'special education' student, and the only girl I know of. She has technopathy. I have good reason to believe she 'likes' me. Clock, the villain, is her dad. |
''' 'Special Education' Teacher''' - The principal of my school, and the sole teacher of the Special Education classes. He can stretch, extend, and twist his body, as though it were rubber. |
''' 'Special Education' Test Proctor''' - one of the Exam & Test Proctors. He has enhanced memory; pretty good power for grading everything, and for remembering cheaters. He attends every 'TEST'. |
''' 'Migraine' McGee''' - one of the villains, and the target of my test. He can "apparently" induce paralyzingly painful migraines; in reality, he has an ability called perceptive memory transmission. The ability lets him make other people see, hear, feel, taste, and/or smell anything he once experienced. He used to work for the Company. |
''' 'Clock' ''' - the main villain. He makes things explode by pointing at it; this includes human beings. Every time he blows up a large building or area, he will leave a working pocketwatch at the site. The resounding ticking can be heard against the absolute silence of the scene, which makes the falling ash, soot, and dust look that much more ominous. There's a twist, too. Clock, he's Gadget's dad. |
''' 'The Puppetmaster' ''' - He is another villain. He can control inanimate objects by touch, as well as anyone who is in a coma, is mentally deficient, e.t.c. |
''' 'The Experiment' ''' - After the Company came up with the formula, some of them tried to go a step further: invent life. This is one of their experiments, gone horribly wrong. It has cannibalistic regeneration, and somehow obtained passive precognition. |
''' 'Glass' ''' - Yet another villain. His power is invisibility. Unfortunate for him, he has several cancers, yet somehow is able to survive. |
''' 'FUTURE MICHAEL' ''' - The main villain. He hasn't aged a day from his current age, from the looks of it. His powers include, but are not limited to: Passive Precognition, Intuitive Aptitude, Shape Shifting, Super Strength, Pyrokinesis, Technopathy, super stretchy, Enhanced Memory, Perceptive Memory Transmission, Induced Combustion, Animative Touch, Cannibalistic Regeneration, Rapid-Cell Regeneration, Invisibility, and Time-Space Manipulation. How did he get all of these powers? His Intuitive Aptitude triggered the "hunger". How did it happen? His fight against McGee should have ended with the 'memory' attacks activating it. Why didn't it happen? Somehow, Future Alex went back in time, to the test, and disrupted McGee's attacks by turning into Wrench and throwing a rock, which distracted him, disrupted the memory attack, and saved Michael. However, it lead to the series of events that occur in the series, starting at Clock. |

'''Sparring''' - I spar defensively with Wrench; I cannot attack, I am only allowed to dodge. |
'''Marksmanship''' - Using .22 caliber pistols, duel wielded, I stand in the middle of a target room. Targets show up for two seconds, then sink. I must shoot the X on the target for it to count. |
'''Machinery Activation''' - This trains my intuitive aptitude. I must make a working machine (the teacher gives me the target machine i.e. automated dryer, computer monitor, e.t.c.) using parts I am given. I am given a time limit, and am not given a manual. A Summary
I am just a highschooler. Or, I thought I was.
My Powers
Passive Precognition - Unlike Isaac Mendev's power to paint the future, my power is constantly at work. Even now, my power is active. I can see trails in the air of what is about to happen. I can see up to fifty-nine seconds without zoning out, but past five seconds, it loses its usefulness.
Intuitive Aptitude - I can understand stuff quite well at a glance, and my power doesn't have the "curse" of hunting for more knowledge.
Telekinesis - I obtained this by compressing my intuitive aptitude. I used it to catch future Michael's blade in midair. I also used it to throw a chunk of a fallen pillar at him.
My Stuff
These are my things, doodads, and gizmos and junk that I consider 'important.
Dual Pistols - They are .22 caliber Rugers, if you want to know. Normally, a .22 isn't fatal, but this is ME we're talking about, remember?
Lockpicking Kit - Because I can't always count on Wrench to open the door for me.
Four Knives - Yes, I have four knives on me on every mission. The intricate design allows me to use them to parry bullets.
My Watch - It's a Sylar... how ironic... it also lets me keep track of how far forward I'm looking into the future.
My Sword - It is a katana, with images of different clock times along the flat of the blade, and on the pommel, and on the handguard.
My NEW Sword - After my old one was shattered by Clock, the Company's forgers made a new one for me. This one is a shortsword, with an intricate design. It is made of an alloy only the forgers know how to make, and, because of the alloy, it can cut through steel like a hot knife through butter.

'Special Education'
[These are -my- 'special classes']
Blackjack all or nothing - I have to try to beat the teacher every go, or fold immediately.
Paintball Catch - I am surrounded by up to eight students armed with paintball guns. I have to catch the paintballs without popping them, or otherwise dodge them.
Sparring - I spar defensively with Wrench; I cannot attack, I am only allowed to dodge.

Tests
Tests are done by groups, except the first test.
MY FIRST TEST - I have to capture a power-using convict - I myself have to capture a level 5 escapee. I don't know his name, but he can induce paralyzingly powerful headaches to anyone he sees. I was able to capture him, but it took me five minutes; that doesn't seem long, until you add in the time I used to precog the events - that makes it approximately a half hour.
