Brian Rivers is the most common cause of Global Annoyance. He is the only known [[evolved human]] that has the ability to control all 8 elements, thus controlling Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Ice, Thunder, Metal and Wood. |

At the age of 14, Brian (has Bruno Silva) discovered he was [[Ricardo Silva]]'s nephew, whom he thought was on the run from the police. He discovered this by [[The Company]]. [[Angela Petrelli]] contacted Bruno, in order to discover if he, or any other person from Ricardo's parentage had any kind of [[abilities]]. To do so, Angela found Bruno at his school, and immediately engaged contact. At first, he pretended he was overwhelmed with his newfound ability, due to the fact he new he had it since he was 13, but tricked The Company into thinking they helped him manifest. The truth was, Bruno was increasingly attached to it. [[Noah Bennet]] then, was assigned to tell Bruno that his uncle was actually not on the run, but instead, being kept in [[Level 5]] for his [[Primal rage]] "issues". Bruno grew paranoid of thinking what would The Company do to him, if he did something wrong. However, he did not want to end up in Level 5. When he turned 15, he decided to break in the [[Primatech]] facility where he was being monitored, and stole his file. He read that he had been [[bag and tag|bagged and tagged]] the day before Angela went to him. His paranoia and suspicions grew, and for the first time, without the help of The Company, he tried to manifest his ability to [[flight|fly away]] and flee. Because of the vast number of byproducts, he couldn't control it, thus creating a small hurricane, strong enough to tear his house down. Scared of hurting his family again, he spent the next year until now, on the run from the company, now with more control over his power than ever, under the alias Brian Rivers. |
