Joseph is a Muslim terrorist who recruits Amid Halebi for a plot to generate a nuclear explosion.
Character History

Joseph watches Amid Halebi as he prays.
Later, after Amid is captured after almost committing suicide, Joseph questions Amid. He tells him no girl can come between the two, and that he needs Amid's help to assemble a device. Joseph tells him that he and Allah forgive him. However, Amid tells him he doesn't want to hurt any more people, not after he killed his wife.
Later, Joseph continues to try to get Amid's help. Joseph claims that it is faith that he found Amid just before he died. Amid asks Joseph for a glass of water and asks for his hands to be untied.
