He and Nathan discover Nathans ability of super speed when he missed the bus, but arrived to school first. They then practised in the corner of the playing field, they were amazed at the speeds he could travel at. |

On the way home they ran into a bunch of teens who where beating up some other children. They told them to stop and they started to through things and try to punch Nathan and Tom. Nathan used his super speed to help himself and tom dodge the punhes ect. When he was worn out one of them pulled a gun from his pocket and fired it off at Nathan, tom jumped in the way and the bullet became lodged in his chest. |

As nathan holds tom in his arms, he slowly starts to fade away into nothing. The teens then run in fear. Nathan looks up and sees him with an extremely confused face. As they continue on the way home they come to the conclusion that he can take extracts of his DNA and create replicants of himself. |

Later he goes to show Jimmy who thinks that he is going crazy and locks himself in his room. |

When he finally gets home and shows his sister his power, she then tells him she can read minds, so she can find the original, he then quotes: |

After being picked for the school team both nathan and tom argue to the officials that the other should not participate due to their abilities, after both being disqualified they argue that it was the others fault they were not playing. Megan then tells them what the other did using her Telepathy and they become friends again. |
