Shenkar is responsible for the vocalizations added to the opening credits and transitions on the series Heroes. The name may refer to the artist Lakshminarayana Shankar, a world music artist who often blends ethnic, pop and electronica melodies into his music, who has alternately been credited as "L. Shenkar" or "Shenkar" on some projects, such as Toto's upcoming album "Falling In Between".
