*** I don't understand--update what? As long as everything is in place on the character pages (sortname, image, season, type) template:minorrow automatically inserts everything onto the page. What needs to be updated? -- 00:33, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

**** Oh, I see. You were talking about Template:PortalCharNav. That should be automated with template:minornavcell. The minor character navbar was showing up on all the other character portals because for some reason that's what was included way back when, with complex coding so it would only appear on Portal:Minor Characters. No matter, I just changed it so only template:PortalCharNavBar shows up on those other character portals, which is really probably the way it should be. So at this point, the only updating we'll have to do is make sure we're adding characters and that they have the correct components so the characters are correctly added. That, and we should occasionally check the portals to make sure they're automating correctly. -- 00:52, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

New list

Dunno how/when this was started in the past, but can someone update this? Didn't we have that template that did this automatically? I remember screwing up with it when I tried to archive the Season Two minors.--Bob (talk) 22:51, 27 September 2008 (EDT)

 • You're thinking of template:minorrow. Yeah, but I can't remember why we're not using it. I'll go ahead and archive these pages, and we'll see what happens if I try to automate it. Oh, I didn't realize they were already archived. I guess you cut and pasted them, eh? I guess we don't need th history on the same page, it's okay to have it on the basepage instead of the subpage... I'll take care of the rest, though. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:43, 27 September 2008 (EDT)
