So what does everybody think of what Bob has done here? Personally, I like it a lot. It's a lot cleaner and much easier to navigate. It causes some minor linking issues (it's not a clear jump from the infobox event template), but no more problems than we already have. I would also restore the periods to the sentences, but that's another story. :) Whatever decision we make, it'd probably be a good idea to decide before Monday. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:33, 20 April 2007 (EDT) |

Revision as of 19:33, 20 April 2007
I don't know if I would make this a disambig page. I know that's what Lostpedia did, but I don't think it fits correctly. We have a very organized portal system, it might work best as a portal (or at least a modified one). Another option, which I like a lot, is to make it a simple list, similar to the way Memory Alpha did theirs--only ours would be a much shorter list, of course. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:46, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
- I was thinking originally about the idea of a portal, but since we have events, those two kinda tie in together. The timeline's not really an event, it's more of a collection of events. Maybe make Timeline a portal, with events as a category in that portal?? Just a thought, I know the Events portal is well done. --Bob 16:56, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
- Or the other way around works, too: add a small portal link to the bottom of our events portal. Either way would work, doesn't matter to me. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:53, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

The Big Switch
So what does everybody think of what Bob has done here? Personally, I like it a lot. It's a lot cleaner and much easier to navigate. It causes some minor linking issues (it's not a clear jump from the infobox event template), but no more problems than we already have. I would also restore the periods to the sentences, but that's another story. :) Whatever decision we make, it'd probably be a good idea to decide before Monday. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:33, 20 April 2007 (EDT)
