It was nothing TOO rough. most of the TV stations around here (NBC 24 included) are pulling that DTV switch early. it was a scramble to try to get some converter boxes and some new TV's up and running running, all the while my grandma blaming my grandpa for not testing things earlier, and frustrations at TPTB that mandated this switch in the first place. I'm pretty sure I included your edits in mine, but you might want to check and make sure (I went with mine since it was a lot of work doing those tables ;)). A quick question...what should I do when the edit overlap occurs? Do I have to reincorporate the code into the top box (with the edits that were done while I was working on it), or start all over, or something else? I wasn't really sure what to do, but since I'm pretty sure I incorporated your edits into mine, and since I didn't want to have to type all of that out again, I went with replacing the top box code with mine for now, but I really want to know what normal protocol is for future. ** What you did looks good, and better that my edit! :) With regards to the edit conflict, it's been a while since one happened to me. There is no real protocol as far as I know. What I usually do is look at the top box and see if the changes are related to and are better than what I was trying to add. If yes, I just close the tab and abort making the change. If no, I try to incorporate my edit (bottom box) into the top or paste my edit in where it would fit, even on top of the existing info like you did there. --{{User:SacValleyDweller/sig}} 00:32, 24 December 2008 (EST) |
