At Arthur's funeral, Nathan tells Peter that Arthur is with Izzie now, and reminds him how much Arthur hated the dog. Peter explains that Izzie was the only living thing that ever disobeyed Arthur. Nathan remembers when they were kids and Arthur would sit outside their home and watch Izzie bury bones.

Truths

Right before he is killed, Arthur remembers the moments that defined his life, including memories of Izzie.

Notes

• In Kindness of Strangers, Nathan looks at some photographs of Peter: one in which he's holding a small brown and white dog in his arms, and another in which he's kneeling with a large dark dog at Christmas. It is unknown whether or not either of these dogs is Izzie.
