Karen Sprague is the late wife of Ted Sprague. She dies of cancer, probably caused by her husband's radiation powers. Her oncologist, Robert Fresco, was accidentally killed by her husband. Thanks to Matt Parkman's telepathic abilities, Karen, although comatose, was able to enjoy one last moment together with her husband just before she died.
