Mr. Linderman sends two thugs to collect the money he loaned Niki Sanders, but Niki and her son Micah escape out the back door. They later catch up with Niki when she returns home. The smaller thug forces Niki to strip while the bigger guy films everything using Niki's webcam. When Niki wakes up later, she finds the thugs mutilated: the big guy is torn in half at the waist, and the smaller guy is impaled on a shard of mirror. After blacking out again, Niki finds the thugs' bodies in the trunk of a car registered in her name. Following the map she finds with the bodies, she drives out into the desert and buries them.
