*No. As far as I know, Hana is the only character was introduced first in the graphic novels, and later appeared in the episodes. (I suppose Thompson was also, but he was never explicitly introduced in the GNs.) Marcus's role does not seem to be that of introducing a new character or a new power, but of introducing a former (dangerous) acquaintance of Noah's which he must confront and disable after having left the Company. Knox?

- No. As far as I know, Hana is the only character was introduced first in the graphic novels, and later appeared in the episodes. (I suppose Thompson was also, but he was never explicitly introduced in the GNs.)
