He reaches inside and pulls out the trapped woman, but as he does, the gas ignites and there's an explosion and flying debris. While driving through rural Utah, D.L. Hawkins and his son Micah come across a nasty car crash. One driver is standing next to his car, dazed, and the other car is on fire. D.L. gets out to help, and another car pulls up to help; it is Hiro and Ando. D.L. runs up to the burning car, and sees a woman trapped inside. D.L. tries to open the car door, but it's locked. He bangs on the window, but the person inside is unresponsive.
