He introduces himself and asks her if she is a "robot" (one who does as he or she is told), or if she is an "alien" (one who does things one's own way). When the [[Mr. Zern|teacher]] asks a question, West observes that Claire had written down the [[Charles Darwin|correct answer]] but didn't raise her hand. |
