As of now, I've only been able to manifest abilities in my dreams (the astral realm), but have had some [[clairvoyance|clairvoyant]] and [[telepathy|telepathic]] experiences in real life. When I first heard of Astral Projection, I thought it was only something off television, but I when I read about Out of Body experiences, I decided to try it myself. Astral projection can be very difficult to control, but I believe that's because the experience is induced by another entity, sort of like the ability of mediumship. The trick is trying to focus on one thing and yet be passive of other thoughts and feelings, otherwise you may just dose off and/or enter a dream.
