Character History

Origins Part 1

Max McCarthy was a reletvily normal but eccentric young man who spent most of his time alone. to others he was a scocial outcast but did posses a few good close friends including Brad Baxter. After a long day of school Max was followed home by bullies who began taunting him and shortly after ganged up on him, during the scirmage max discoverd he had the ability to controle heat when he badly burned all of the bullies who quickly ran off.

Origins Part 2

After staring in awe of what he had just done Max ran quickly to his house where he sat in his room trying to bring about his ability once again. In only a little amount of time Max had learned to use his powers by boil water, cooking eggs and stoping a fire. Once he bealived he could fully controle his powers he called his freind Brad asking him to come over and witness his "unique ability". However this call was intercepted by The Company and soon after Noah Bennet proceded to track Max down.

Origins Part 3

Brad shows up ready to see Max's so called "unique ability" and watches in amazement as Max creates a blur of heat around himself, melts a spoon and instantly vaporizes a glass of water. Brad dismisses theese occurences as a "trick" and decides to head home he tells Max he'll call him later. As soon as he leaves Max hears a strange knock on the door, he opens it thinking that Brad had forgoten somthing only to be rushed by a man Falkes and some Agents. After apoligizing for the rude introduction (Max never mentioned what his power was so the The Company could only assume the worst case scenario) Falkes asks Max to demonstrate his ability. After witnessing this Falkes asks Max if he would like to join the company. After mulling over the posibility Max gleefully accepts.

Agent of The Company

Max is trained by Falkes to become a company agent.

Protecting Joan

For his first mission Max is assigned to escort an Evolved Human with Healing abilities.

The Weird West

Max is accidently transported to the Old west durring a confrontation with Hiro

Evolved Human Abilities

Max possesses the evolved human ability of Thermokinesis which allows him to controle heat by increasing or decreasing the rate of which moulcules move. This allows him to project intense streams of hot or cold air and melt or freeze nearly anything. In addition Max seems to posses a kind of sixth sense which allows him to sense heat signitures. However Max's abilty does not come without its flaws, for example max must be extra carful not to heat any combustables up and his body still requires a normal tempurature.

• Company Gun-Issued to him as an agent, although he rarely uses it.
