* Ah, no prob. For the timeline, could you maybe comment out the code that automatically links the date of an event to the timeline, and I'll go ahead and start moving articles. After that, either you or I could manually link to the respective section on the timeline article. Then I guess we'll have to comment out the timeline event template that appears at the bottom of the event pages.--[[User:Baldbobbo|Bob]] 00:18, 23 April 2007 (EDT) |

Hey
Hope you're feeling better...I hear Dr. Pepper will do the trick every time. I'm enjoying your occifer picture. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:14, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks. It was one of those 24hr bugs I guess. That picture's from training for detaining people using standards set by the AF...of course, in Iraq/Afghanistan, they use Army standards even if they're in the Air Force. --Bob 22:28, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
Timeline
OK, so for the timeline, there was a good suggestion by RyanGibsonStewart to mock up something similar to Lostpedia. When looking at it, it's setup to have articles for specific months (which I like). The decision would be where to start and have a "pre-whatever" page that has all preceding events. So here are the thoughts I've had to mark the start of individual articles for months:
- Eclipse - this would make sense, but some stuff in Genesis is before the eclipse (the beginning scenes with Mo)
- Genesis - start of the series, would make sense, only aired material (for the time being) preceding it is Six Months Ago and Mo's dreams
I'm leaning towards the eclipse. Just wanted to field some ideas before I started. I like the way Lostpedia has it setup and it would be easier to maintain so I'll get started on that.--Bob 13:48, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
- October 1st seems like a place to start. All jumps should be taken care of with span id tags, which are mostly there, but certainly not in every format. Ugh. A few other notes: the names of episodes and GNs should not be in the headings, but should probably be parenthetical citations. (In general, one citation for the first event of a group would be enough, though.) I wouldn't call anything "Day 1" like Lostpedia does--it just doesn't fit with our content. Good luck! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:07, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
Thanks etc.
Thanks for watching my back, Bob. By the way, are we ready to go ahead and switch the timelines? Let me know what you'd like me to do. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:38, 22 April 2007 (EDT)
