| history = Born and raised in the academic-intensive college town of Austin, Texas, Mitchell was diagnosed at a young age with a relatively low IQ score. This early conclusion, in addition to the fact that Mitchell came from a low-income family, led to his being dismissed by most of his teachers as a lost cause. Mitchell struggled through the demanding Austin public school cirriculum, always overshadowed and compared to his brother, an academically successful and ambitious young man. By the age of seventeen Mitchell came to the conclusion that the educational system was not for him, and while he managed to graduate high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps shortly thereafter.

Mitchell excelled in the Marine Corps as he never had in public education, becoming a basic infantryman and serving two tours of duty in Iraq. In both tours his unit took heavy casualties, although in his second tour his abilities began to manifest for the first time. [Sentences Omitted: Classified] Mitchell was separated from his unit and abruptly transferred to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, pending further orders.

| psych =Extensive psychological testing has revealed the subject's core personality traits to be those instilled in him during his indoctrination into the United States Marines. In many ways, the subject's personality was fundamentally stunted until he joined the military. Incorrectly diagnosed with a learning disability at a young age, the subject was isolated from his peers for much of his formative years, forced instead into special education classes that ironically served the hold back the subject's educational growth. His parents, a pair of wealthy and successful lawyers, were largely absent figures from the subject's childhood, the void filled instead with a number of hired tutors, each of whom pronounced the subject a hopeless case.

It should be noted that the intelligence tests conducted on the subject by our own scientists have revealed a very different picture: a subject that, while requiring visual information intake to auditory intake, possesses normal intelligence levels. However, as a result of the subject's unsatisfactory formal education, he is ignorant of many information often taken for granted. Because he has never experienced betrayal and has absorbed the doctrine of a culture that regards treachery as heinous, the subject is also idealistic and rather naive.

With no previously embedded values, the subject absorbed entirely the Marine Corps values taught to him during boot camp. Because of this the subject is highly loyal, never questioning his orders. This discipline, in tandem with an ability of largely untapped potential, makes it imperative that this subject be assigned to a superior capable of successfully indoctrinating him. It should be emphasized that this subject has never experienced betrayal in his life before, and that a betrayal by an authority figure could have devastating psychological consequences for the subject's psyche.
