* Yes, thanks. I have frequently wanted to get to the portals from the categories but there was no easy way. I put it on Portal:Abilities to test, what do you think? -Lөvөl 18:21, 19 August 2015 (EDT) |

I would also make it say "Show Abilities Category" rather than just "Show Category". And you'll need to figure out a standard spot to put it in each portal page. Doesn't matter to me where, so long as it's consistent. :) Also, there are a ton of portals. You might find that some of the category pagenames don't match the portal pagenames. Just create a redirect if needed. -- 18:51, 19 August 2015 (EDT) |

*** Hmm, looks like it will be interesting trying to be consistent as the portals themselves are inconsistent. -Lөvөl 12:12, 20 August 2015 (EDT) |

**** First, great job! I like the capitalized "Category" mostly because the portals and categories are named with title caps -- for instance, it's Portal:Graphic Novel Characters and :Category:Graphic Novel Characters (not Category:graphic novel characters or Portal:graphic novel characters) so it makes more sense to have this template print "Display Graphic Novel Characters Category" rather than "Display Graphic Novel Characters category". Second, I like your placement of the template on each portal -- good choice. Third, what inconsistencies are you finding? Just curious if there's a reason for the inconsistencies, or if it's something we need to fix... -- 21:28, 20 August 2015 (EDT) |
