This issue begins where [[Episode:Don't Look Back|Don't Look Back]] ends. [[Hiro Nakamura]] teleports back to the train in Tokyo and immediately rushes back to his apartment. He tears the cover off Issue #1 of Action Comics, the comic when Superman debuted, folds it into an origami crane and takes it to a park to speak with his grandfather. Presumably the old man next to him, Hiro reveals that he is named in memory of the Hiroshima bomb from which is grandfather survived. After the old man gets up and walks away, we realize Hiro is at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and his crane is placed among thousands of others. It is implied that Hiro's grandfather actually died from a cancer caused by the radiation from the bomb. Finally, we discover that Hiro is the first to accept his destiny to become a hero. |

Summary
