Compelled by his vivid dreams, hospice nurse Peter Petrelli leaps off a tall building to prove that he can fly. While Peter wishes to explore his newfound abilities, Nathan tries to put the experience far behind him to concentrate on his political campaign, creating a widening rift between the two...

Summary

Nathan Petrelli walks down the street past some large campaign posters of himself. Soon he comes upon a burning apartment complex where he discovers that a girl is trapped inside. Nathan uses his powers to fly up to the 4th floor and save the girl. When he returns her to the ground he makes a quick getaway but not before planting one of his campaign buttons on the girl, causing her to change her vote which originally was going to Nathan's opponent.
