Shouldn't the President have an appearance? He didn't technically appear but neither did Linderman in the third season (and D.L. in the second season with Maury)? --Iheartheroes 19:42, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- I think the standard has been that we include characters who appear in illusions (and telepathic illusions), but not characters who appear in shape shifting. Similarly, we include characters who appear in videos, but not in photographs. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:37, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- Two problems with that. The unknown answer to the question I have searched everywhere for on Heroes Wiki, is then if Nathan is going to get appearances in this next volume (and after for that matter) or is it going to be Sylar? I have never found an answer, but is that the answer? That Nathan won't get appearances? Also, if he doesn't get appearances, will his page still need to be updated with every episode that "Sylar as Nathan" is in? And then the Red Eye man. You said that characters in videos get an appearance. But in one of the first two iStories (of the Operation Bad Blood or Splinter (I can't remember which)), he doesn't get an appearance, but he appears in a video.
P.S. In I Am Sylar, Virginia Gray got an appearance. How does that follow the "standards"? ~~ Iheartheroes 22:22, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- Yes, the appearances will be listed under Sylar. Nathan won't get more appearances (and his page won't be updated) unless the dead Nathan somehow reappears. And the videos thing is kind of more for episodic guidelines, although in this case Red Eye should probably be added.
P.S. It's because she appeared in one of Sylar's flashbacks. --Radicell 22:40, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- But why won't Nathan's page be updated? It technically isn't him, but it is. Just because he's not there (like D.L.) but he appears, shouldn't his page be updated? Like maybe say ==[[Orientation]] through [[Shadowboxing]](?)==He appears through a shapeshift by Sylar. (And it could through flashbacksor time travel)
P.S. Oh, ok! I had forgotten that I guess! ~~ Iheartheroes 22:53, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- Hmm? I don't think we'll be including Sylar's appearances on Nathan's page, simply because it's not Nathan, but Sylar who looks like Nathan. This is different from D.L.'s case; Nathan's appearance is taken on by Sylar through shape shifting, while D.L.'s appearance was created by Maury through telepathy. Again, the shape shifting vs. telepathy distinction there. --Radicell 22:58, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- Ditto every single thing Radicell said. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:09, 19 September 2009 (EDT)
