Charles Deveaux is Simone Deveaux's father. At the beginning of season one he was comatose and dying but eventually passes away in Nothing to Hide. Peter Petrelli served as his home hospice nurse but quit shortly after his powers emerged. Simone believes that Peter is "like a son to him" and that Charles improved under Peter's care.
