What's the rule of thumb for which book characters we should create articles for? I think characters who "appear" (are present in the narrative) definitely need articles. What about characters who don't appear but are mentioned (such as Condor from A Matter of Trust or Mrs. Dearing from Dirty Deeds)? If we do include these characters, we should add Friedkin from Brave New World as well. --Radicell (talk) 19:58, 22 November 2015 (EST)
- Condor should definitely be added, as he is mentioned a million times. Mrs. Dearing probably should not be added, as she is only mentioned once in passing. Same as Friedkin. I will take Mama Dearing off now. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:15, 22 November 2015 (EST)
- All the characters I added to Save the Cheerleader, Destroy the World are characters that have speaking roles. I left out a couple of characters who have names but are only mentioned in passing, or who appear but don't have any dialogue. -Kon (talk) 02:20, 23 November 2015 (EST)
