Aaron Beesly is an officer of The Circle.
Character History
Aaron was a miserable child and grew into a miserable adult. He initially thought his ability was a waste but with guidance from Mason he discovered that he could receive abilities from a person via another evolved human that had his power. Mason mimicked his ability and used it to obtain Mental Manipulation for him one of a set of triplets from Argentina. With this gift, he became blindly dedicated to The Circle and its mission. They would remake this world. Now he just waits to find evolved humans so that he can be more empowered. Mason says he will take care of him and he believes it.
Evolved Human Abilities
This ability allows Aaron to take an evolved humans ability (or abilities if the person is multi-ability capable) or a normal persons skills and give it to another person. The person with this ability cannot use any of the abilities or skills that he takes possession of. He can only target one person at a time. Once he takes their ability(ies) or skill(s) he must transfer them to another vessel within 90 minutes or they are lost. He has honed his ability to the point were he can affect the recently deceased (for up to 36 hours). Mental Manipulation is the ability to manipulate upper brain functions, enabling the user to render others unconscious, erase their memories, and negate the use of abilities. He was granted Mental Manipulation through Mason. What he does not realize is that it is not stable. As time has passed since he received it, he is having a hard time negating others abilities. He does not seem to diminished control over the memory manipulation aspect of this ability. There is no explanation for this but it is believed that since this ability was given to him by his own ability (even though provided by Mason) is the reason for the defect.
