Wow, I get a whole page to define myself! A self-professed geek (check out J!inx for bracelets, and other geek-oriented stuff) and big Heroes fan (duh!).
Here are my qualifications; I:
- have played Dungeons and Dragons
- know who MC Escher is
- have drank Earl Gray tea (but it's not my favorite drink -- that's Dr. Pepper)
- have some Final Fantasy 7 action figures
- know Pi to 8 places (not quite 1,000)
- like Mayonnaise
- know the easter egg in Minesweeper where you can win 100%
- know Pascal
- have done vector calculus
- watched original "Happy Days" episodes
- fluent in JavaScript (but not Klingon :-( )
- have a few comics (Calvin and Hobbes, in Swedish I think)
- edit Wikipedia
- know big parts of "Holy Grail" and can recite them (e.g. Dennis' monologue)
- have created several websites
- code HTML in Notepad
- was on the Chess Team in High School
- can offer reasons for liking both of Kirk and Picard
- ... and like Weird Al (as if you could not tell!)
