About
Arlington County has 210,000 residents and is located directly across the Potomac River to the southwest of Washington, DC. Formerly a part of the District of Columbia, it was retroceded to Virginia in 1846. Arlington is most notably home to the Pentagon, the US intelligence headquarters. It is also the location of Ronald Reagan International Airport, a busy entry point in and out of the DC area.
