Bangalore, also known as Bengaluru, is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. Bangalore is also the former home of Richard Drucker. The city is often called the "Silicon Valley of India".

According to a Global News Interactive piece on Richard Drucker, he moved from the United States to Bangalore in 1977, where many accredit Drucker to Bangalore's rapid ascent into the global markets. Drucker's case file at primatechpaper.com notes that Drucker vanished "off the grid" sometime in the 1980s while doing business in India.
