Hiro takes Charlie Andrews to the hospital because she says she was bitten by a brown recluse spider. The triage nurse who helps her is also named Charlie, which Hiro takes as a good sign. However, Hiro quickly notes that the nurse is a sour woman, very opposite Charlie Andrews and her good natured disposition. The nurse gives Charlie A. a clipboard and orders her to fill it out. Charlie A. insists on seeing a doctor, but the sour nurse says that unless Charlie is passed out, she has to fill out the form first. When the paperwork is completed, she gives it to Nurse Charlie. Within two hours, the nurse has "abandoned her desk" and can't be found. (Chapter 32)
