Character History

The Second Coming

After seeing Nathan get shot during his press conference, Claire calls Peter, offering to help out, but he tells her to stay at home. Soon after, Claire is attacked by Sylar in her Costa Verde home while she is alone. Sylar begins to terrorize her while she locks herself in a closet after arming herself with a kitchen knife. Suddenly, Claire slips out of the closet and stabs a distracted Sylar through the chest. She runs to the front door but he throws her against the wall. Sylar opens her skull so he can view her brain. She asks if he is going to eat it, but Sylar replies "Claire, that's disgusting." Sylar obtains her regenerative power and finds more. After replacing the top of her skull, he tells Claire that she is "different" than the others; that she's "special," and that he couldn't kill her even if he wanted to because she, and now he too, can never die. Sylar then leaves the house and, later, Lyle and Sandra come home to find Claire clutching Mr. Muggles as she sits trembling upon the living room table.

The Butterfly Effect

Claire can no longer feel pain, which causes her to feel as if she is not human anymore. Claire proceeds to make another video, where she throws herself in front of a passing train, but Peter flies in time to save her. Peter tells her that he can't help her find her way again, and he teleports away. Claire proceeds home and walks into her father's office to find her father. He shows her several assignment tracker profiles for Level 5 escapees, and bring Meredith forward, telling her that she will need protection now more than ever before.

One of Us, One of Them

Sandra insists that Claire go back to school, but Claire says that she should be out hunting down villains like her father. When Claire asks to be taught how to fight "bad guys", Meredith allows her to skip school and takes her to an empty storage container where she burns the oxygen out of the air. Claire begins to have flashbacks of her encounter with Sylar and pleads with Meredith to stop. Meredith continues until Claire admits that she wants to learn how to fight not to help people, but to hurt Sylar. That night, Claire convinces her two mothers to let her go to a "sleepover", but in actuality, she drives alone with a box of Noah's files from the Company beside her.

Angels and Monsters

Claire tracks down Stephen Canfield, a man who can create black holes. She finds him and stuns him. Canfield creates a vortex and Claire's stun gun is sucked into it. Claire agrees to help Canfield after being convinced by the story of his situation. She helps him phone his wife, where he arranges to meet up with her. Noah Bennet and Sylar break into the house, and Claire expresses her shock at seeing her father with Sylar. Assuming he's been tricked, Stephen creates a black hole and flees the area. Sylar, Noah and Claire hold on while the black hole begins to rip up the house. Claire begins to slip, and is almost pulled before Sylar saves her life by grabbing her hand.

Claire reluctantly tells her dad where Canfield is meeting his wife but makes him promise not to hurt him. When at the place, Canfield tells Claire that his family didn't show up because they're scared of him. Noah points a gun at Canfield and tells him to make Sylar (who is standing by the car) disappear. Canfield says he doesn't want to be a murderer and sucks himself into a black hole.

During the ride home, Claire expresses disbelief that her father is working with Sylar after everything Sylar did to her. Claire returns home, and her mother tells her that she's happy that Meredith got to Claire in time. Claire tells her that she didn't see Meredith.

Dying of the Light

Claire and Sandra team up to find Meredith, with Sandra reminding Claire that it's always "one of us, one of them".

They arrive at Doyle's Marionette Theatre where Sandra prepares a diversion for Doyle by pretending to schedule a birthday party appearance as Claire tries to rescue a petrified Meredith. Doyle uses his power to control all three women and forces them to play Russian roulette. Claire has Sandra shoot her, then as Doyle thinks that she is dead, she attacks and subdues him from behind.

Noah arrives and tranquilizes Doyle. Meredith says that Claire caught Doyle, and Noah tells Claire that she has done a good job. Claire walks away, clearly still feeling uneasy with Noah, and is followed by Sandra, who says she will talk to Claire.

Eris Quod Sum

After catching Eric Doyle, Claire and Sandra arrive home. As they are getting out of the car, they notice the lights flickering. Inside, they find an injured Lyle lying on the floor, who manages to say to Claire, "bitch is back". Claire finds Elle sitting at the computer, electricity sparking from her body. Claire tells her to get out and Elle tries electrocuting Claire, but it has no effect. Claire tries to forcibly remove Elle, but Elle flips Claire onto her back. She attacks Claire again, but Lyle throws a bucket of water on her, short circuiting Elle's powers. Elle apologizes, saying she needs help and had nowhere else to go.

Elle explains that she cannot control her ability anymore, and mentions that some girl gave her a Pinehearst card saying that they can help. Claire, who seeks help for her inability to feel pain, convinces Elle to go with her to Pinehearst.

On the plane, Elle starts to panic, causing electric current to emanate from her, interfering with the plane's electrical systems. Claire tells Elle to channel her electricity into her and together, they manage to stop the plane from crashing.

Arriving at Pinehearst, they see Peter falling from a window of the building's seventh story. The girls notice that Peter isn't healing; Peter explains that his abilities are gone. Claire helps Peter to the vehicle, but Elle heads for the building, apologizing to Claire.

Claire is tending to Peter's wounds as Nathan and Tracy show up. Nathan insists on seeing Arthur. Peter is reluctant to mention Pinehearst, but Claire tells him.

Villains

Claire, not knowing it was her mother that had caused it, rushes into a train wreck to save an innocent man.

It's Coming

Claire is determined to save a powerless Peter, as he saved her at Homecoming. She distracts Knox and Flint, allowing her and Peter to escape. When they capture her, Claire learns that Pinehearst is specifically after her, and she escapes with help from Peter. Later, it is implied by Arthur that Kaito hid a third part of the Formula, and in the end of the episode Angela reveals that this 'catalyst' was in fact hidden in the blood of a person. Claire realizes that this catalyst was her, and that is the reason Pinehearst is after her. Earlier in the episode, Arthur had a file on Claire, possibly suggesting he will soon send his team after her.

The Eclipse, Part 1

Arthur draws a picture of a wounded Claire being carried by Noah Bennet. Later, Angela assigns Noah Bennet to watch over Claire as it's likely Arthur is coming after her. Noah tries to teach Claire how to fight at Stephen Canfield's house, but she is still angry with him as his abandonment of her. She then admits that she used to hate him leaving; Noah wants to talk about it but Sylar and Elle show up to capture Claire. However, they find that their powers don't work due to the eclipse. Noah beats down Sylar but Elle takes Noah's gun and attempts to shoot him. Claire sees this and takes the bullet for him. Noah manages to knock out Sylar and Elle and get away with Claire, but her powers are also stopped by the eclipse and she is unable to heal from the wound. Noah takes Claire home where he treats her wounds with a first aid kit, feeling that her wound is not serious enough to go to the hospital and unwilling to risk the chance of her suddenly healing through it if her powers return. Sandra later comes to bring her some food and finds her unconscious with a pool of blood around her as the wound was apparently more serious than they thought.

The Eclipse, Part 2

Sandra rushes Claire to the emergency room, where the emergency room doctor explains that Claire has never been been sick before (and had therefore, never worked up an immune system), and is now suffering from an infection. Soon after questioning the whereabouts of her father, Claire flat lines. After the doctors' failed attempts, Claire is pronounced dead, only to be revived seconds later, as the eclipse ends. Sandra rushes her back home before anyone notices her miraculous recovery.

Later that night, Noah comes home and talks to Claire, who tells him that she died. Noah realizes that if Claire had died but been revived, then the same thing may have happened to Sylar when the eclipse ended. Noah and Claire rush downstairs to find Sandra held hostage by Elle and Sylar, who say that they need to take Claire. After Elle threatens to kill Sandra and Sylar starts to cut Noah's throat, Claire agrees to go with them. At that moment, Hiro teleports both Elle and Sylar out of the house before teleporting Claire, saying "Save the cheerleader...". They arrive in Manhattan, 16 years ago, where they witness Kaito giving an 18-month old Claire to Noah.

Our Father

Claire meets herself.

Claire tells Hiro Nakamura to meet her later, she follows her baby self and meets her mother, she introduces herself as Bonnie, a neighbor’s niece and helps to take care of the child. She reassures Sandra that she will be a great parent.

Noah then enters the room and is startled by the sight of Claire. He questions her identity and is not fooled by her lie. Claire tells him that she is here to protect the baby and that he will fall in love and protect her. The phone rings, it is the company calling. Claire warns Noah not to pick up and take away his “Claire-Bear”. He considers than puts the phone down, smiling at the nickname.

Later on, Claire meets up with Hiro Nakaumra on the rooftop. With his English back, Hiro explains that he has the catalyst now, not her. Before they can teleport back, Arthur Petrelli appears, he throws Claire away before knocking Hiro to the ground and stealing the Catalyst. He throws Hiro over the edge and than tells Claire to send Angela a message, that he has won before sending her back to the present.

Dual

Just as they are about to walk out of Primatech to help Peter in Pinehearst, Sylar locks Claire, along with her father, her biological mother, and her biological grandmother in the building. Over the PA system, Sylar says that he will show them, one by one, how they're all monsters, just like him.

Angela fears that Sylar can't be stopped, since he has Claire's ability, and Claire informs them that, if something is jabbed in the back of her head, her brain is cut off, and is "shut down". The four split up, with Noah and Meredith going after Sylar, and Claire staying in an office with a gun to protect Angela.

Soon after, Sylar calls the office, giving Claire the ultimatum of either leaving the building with Noah and Meredith "to live happily ever after", but having to shoot Angela, or to continue protecting Angela, and have him kill Noah and Meredith. Claire says that if he killed them, she'd hunt him down and kill him, to which Sylar asks "who's the monster now?" Claire thinks, cocks the rifle, and shoots the phone responding "you are."

On the office computer, Sylar shows Claire surveillance footage of the bullet-proof cell in Level 5 which he locked Noah and an adrenaline-pumped Meredith who is uncontrollably releasing bursts of flames in. Claire and Angela leave the office to try to help Noah and Meredith, but as they turn a corner on their way to Level 5, Sylar kidnaps Angela before slamming Claire against the wall, telling her that since she didn't choose before, he had to "up the stakes"- to either save Noah or Angela. His newly stolen ability tells him that she's going to save Noah, and he then lets her go.

Claire finds the cell, and after a couple of failed attempts, Claire jumps through the heated glass, shattering it completely, and allowing Noah to escape. Claire picks up one of the pieces of broken glass, and after Meredith tells her to go and kill Sylar, she and Noah run to go looking for him. Claire bursts into the room, stabbing the back of Sylar's head, just as he was about to kill Angela. Noah tells Claire that the whole building is about to go up in flames so he takes Angela out, while Claire goes back for Meredith.

Meredith tells Claire that she has to go as Noah comes back to get her out of the building. Claire tells her mother "I love you, mom" as the cell fills up with flames, and she and her adoptive father escape the building as it explodes behind them. They meet up outside with Angela, as they watch the building burn down.

Graphic Novel:Red Eye, Part 2

At a school in Ithaca, Claire startles Anna by asking her where Lecture Hall D is located. She apologizes for startling her, and the two introduce themselves. Claire explains that she is checking out potential schools with her grandmother. She says that the entire thing was her grandmother's idea, however, and that she's just along from the ride. Suddenly, Ricardo Silva grabs Claire from behind and uses his ability on two security guards, causing one of them to shoot Claire in the stomach. However, after Anna disarms the guards, Claire regenerates. Afterwards, Ricardo tries to assure Anna that all he wanted to do was protect her, but Anna refuses to listen. Claire says that she understands that Ricardo only did what he had to do to protect Anna, and she tells her that people like him are hard to come by in this world -- especially for people like them.

A Clear and Present Danger

At her grandmother's home, Claire is going over college brochures when Angela comes in and says that Claire did the right thing in getting a GED credential, and that a good education is vital. Claire doubts this but Angela wants Claire to have a normal life. Claire worries that Sylar may still be alive but Angela maintains that he is dead. Claire doesn't believe her and says that her father has starting taking trips again and that if necessary, she'll find Sylar herself.

Claire overhears Angela on the phone with someone and listens in, only to find that it's Nathan. Angela states that she can't control Claire, and Nathan warns Angela that Claire must be kept away from Matt and Peter while they are taken down. Angela notices Claire watching her, so Claire abruptly leaves the house.

Claire walks down a New York street and calls Peter on her cell phone. She warns him that Nathan plans to round up evolved humans and that Matt is their next target. Peter says he will talk to Angela and that Claire should warn Matt.

Claire arrives at Matt's apartment to find him drawing. Claire asks whether anyone has come to get him and Matt shows her the drawings, saying he doesn't understand how or why he created them. As they looks at a picture of Matt with a dart in his neck, someone shoots a dart at him through the window. Danko's team arrives and hold Claire at gunpoint while Matt passes out.

Claire is hooded, drugged, and held at an airplane hangar with other prisoners. After being awakened by Nathan, she is told to go home and forget what she has seen. She says she won't but Nathan puts her in a car and has her driven away. In the car, she recovers from the drugs and knocks out the driver. She sees the plane taking off, and runs to it and climbs into a landing wheel bay.

Aboard the plane, Claire moves to the cargo hold, finds Hiro and Peter and frees them, then frees Mohinder. Peter absorbs Mohinder's ability and they both break free from their shackles. Claire frees Tracy, grabs a taser and heads to the cockpit, stunning one guard and threatening the pilot. She is shocked to find that the co-pilot of the plane is her father.

Graphic Novel:Out of Town... On Business

Claire is at home, trying to borrow fifty dollars from her father, when she finds a note on the table that says "Heading out of town--on business - love Dad." Claire is suspicious and calls her dad. She confronts him about the past, and says reminds him that the last time he was "on business" he was chasing down bad guys with Sylar. Sandra comes home needing help with the groceries. Claire and Noah end their conversation, but Claire still feels suspicious.

Trust and Blood

Claire tries to escape the wreckage of the crash with Peter, but her father interrupts them, takes Claire and then tries to shoot Peter but cannot bring himself to do it.

Claire is taken back to the military camp where Nathan is waiting and makes plans to send her home. Claire is unwilling to forsake her friends, though and rages against both of her fathers and their betrayal of the others.

Claire is seen in shackles by Ando and Daphne and Daphne rushes off to rescue her.

Daphne and Claire return to Ando's location and notice that Matt, Hiro and Mohinder are now there. They exchange greetings, when Daphne is shot abruptly by one of Nathan's men. Claire takes fire for the rest of the group, preventing any further harm falling upon Daphne. Matt telepathically causes one of the men to shoot the others, whilst the others run away.

Danko drags Claire back to the camp, and threatens her with a bullet to the brain. Noah and Nathan however both show up in time and command Danko to stand down. Danko and Nathan have words while Noah escorts Claire to a car and warns her that Danko will be watching her like a hawk now. Claire reluctantly accepts to finally go home.

Back in Costa Verde, Sandra assumes Claire has been looking over college placements. Claire tells her about wanting to go to a school near home and Sandra is ecstatic. After she leaves, Claire receives anonymous text messages from a mysterious stranger called Rebel, telling her to fight and not give up. The sender reveals no more than that they hate them as much as Claire does.

Building 26

Claire receives urgent text messages from "Rebel" while eating waffles with her family. After Sandra comments that neither Noah nor Claire have said anything about her college tour trip, Claire abruptly leaves the table and Noah follows. They argue, and Claire states that she can't act like nothing has happened or keep lying to her mother. Noah tells her that she has to play ball or else they will come for her and nothing will stop them. He then tells Claire he has enrolled her in Costa Verde Community College. As he leaves her room, she receives another text message from Rebel, telling her to warn "Alex" at Sam's Comics.

Claire finds Alex and delivers her warning message. Alex mocks her, saying that someone named Victor put her up to this for revenge and she convinces him by cutting her own hand and healing. The door opens and Claire sees her father come in. She distracts Noah by calling him while Alex smashes him over the head with a rack of comics. He and Claire run out and speed off in Alex's car.

Claire tells Alex she was sent to warn him that the agents were coming for him. She guesses he is on a list and asks if he has a power. He replies that he can breathe underwater, and he's glad he met someone else who has a power because he felt like a freak. Claire orders him not to use his cell phone or credit cards, then she spots a car making its second pass. They run behind a bush for cover before a team of agents swarm around the car.

Later, Claire and Noah discuss what she was doing today, and Noah says if he can't control her then she will be in danger, and Claire tells him she can't be controlled.

When Claire gets home, she tells Sandra about the operation Noah is on. Noah suddenly arrives home and Sandra starts to yell at him.

Noah goes to Claire's room and tells her that Sandra has asked him to move out until he becomes a better person, father and husband, and stops telling lies. They reconcile. When Noah leaves, Claire opens her closet door where Alex is hiding and hands him a sleeping bag.

Graphic Novel:The Swimmer

Alex recalls the moment that Claire came into the store where he worked and showed him her ability. He then becomes a fugitive, but when she comes into the closet where he is hiding and hands him a sleeping bag, she is a reminder that there is still beauty in life.

Exposed

Claire is caught with Alex in her closet by her mom. Instead of being mad about it, Sandra wants to help them. Sandra tells her that she is not as fragile and in need of protection as Claire and Noah think, and says that there is a van parked outside, watching Claire. When the agents from the van come to the house, Alex hides in a closet and is not discovered. Sandra then makes an ID for Alex using Lyle's license. Sandra and Lyle drive the car out of the garage in hopes of creating a diversion for Alex and Claire. Alex and Claire manage to get a head start. When the people from the van catch up with Sandra and Lyle, Sandra tells them that she is only going to the movies with her son. Realizing they have been tricked, the scouts run after Alex and Claire who jump in a pool and share a kiss under water. The agents leave and Claire succeeds in getting Alex to the train. Back at her house, Claire talks with Sandra in her bedroom, and is told that there's popcorn in the microwave. Claire opens it and it's empty. She turns around and is surprised by the presence of Eric Doyle, who's eating the popcorn. She backs away from him. Doyle greets her as "Barbie" and shows her a text message from Rebel, saying that Claire will help him.

Shades of Gray

In the Bennet house in Costa Verde, Claire opens the microwave and finds nothing. She turns around and is confronted by Eric Doyle who has received a text message from Rebel saying "Claire will save you." Claire tells him to get out of the house. Sandra comes down and Eric asks help from both of them. He explains he just wants to be a puppeteer again and make people happy. Claire immediately refuses. Sandra warns him telling that there are agents parked outside the house. But Eric explains that Rebel made a fake call to misdirect them but they would be back very soon. Then he asks why they don't catch a "comes-back-to-life Barbie". Claire says she got a free pass but if she would help anyone they would come after her. Eric questions her loyalty to her own kind, says they burned his theater and expresses that she wouldn't know the feeling of being hunted. He tells them that he's changed and that he wouldn't force anyone to do anything against their will. He then leaves the house.

Claire speaks with Sandra about whether she should have helped Doyle, and they decide that Claire should help others, but that she can't have them barging into the house. Claire then decides that she will try for Alex's old job at Sam's Comics.

After being grilled by the manager, Claire calls Noah and asks him how he managed to live two lives for so long. In response, he asks her whether she wants to be reassured or to hear the truth. Claire doesn't know. Noah says he loves her and hangs up.

Claire receives a message from Rebel that agents are closing in on Doyle nearby. Doyle uses his ability to knock Rachel Mills out, and Claire saves him from being tasered by Jason Pierce.

Later that night Claire hands Doyle a new identity, giving him a chance to start over again. She says she is doing this for herself, not for him. She asks Doyle if he truly means to start over, but Doyle says nothing and walks away. Back at home, she receives a message from Rebel, telling her that her free pass is up, and agents are coming for her. Agents burst into the house, pushing Sandra aside and searching the house. They find nothing in Claire's room, but outside the window, Nathan is floating in the air, holding Claire in his arms.

Graphic Novel:Puppet with No Strings

Doyle recounts his life since Primatech burned down and after his marionette shop burned down, he receives a message from Rebel that Claire will save him.

Into Asylum

Nathan and Claire arrive at a motel in Pátzcuaro, Mexico. The receptionist, glancing at Claire, tells Nathan that the rate is different if they want to pay per hour. When Nathan storms out, saying that he's her father, Claire jokes that he's only her biological father.

Nathan explains to Claire that because he was exposed, her free pass has been revoked. When Claire asks about everyone else, Nathan says that he will make some calls and put some things in motion. In the motel room, Nathan offers to buy Claire a taco, but she reminds him that they have no money, and goes out alone, despite Nathan's objections. Later she meets him at a cantina, and gives him a small stack of banknotes, explaining that she went to a pawn shop and sold a necklace that her other dad gave her. Claire argues with Nathan's assertion that he has everything under control, and Nathan asks why she doesn't appreciate the things he's done for her, such as her free pass. Claire asks why Nathan gave her the free pass, but he shrugs off the question. He then takes her money, and challenges a group of guys to a tequila-drinking contest, despite Claire's protests.

Nathan and Sligo take shot after shot until Claire tells them to call a draw. Nathan reassures her but then passes out. Sligo claims victory, but Claire offers him a rematch for all the money, plus Nathan's watch, and insists that she can catch up. As she matches his total of 22 shots, Sligo wonders why she looks so sober, so she giggles and feigns drunkenness. They chat, with Claire explaining how Nathan tries too hard to please her, and Sligo saying that he understands because his parents are divorced too. Before Claire can tell him that he has misunderstood, Sligo passes out too, so Claire gathers up the prize money, wakes Nathan up, and takes Nathan back to the motel. Nathan asks why she's not drunk, and she explains that it's because of her ability. He confesses that when he first found out about her existence, he went into denial and assumed they could forge a bond later. He also explains that he gave her the free pass because he thought it would win her over. Claire stares at him and sheds a tear, and when he falls asleep on the bed, saying that he'll make things better, she covers him with a blanket.

The next morning, Claire wakes in a chair and Nathan thanks her for her help. She asks if they're now going to Washington, but he says no, apologizing for getting her hopes up. Distraught, Claire tells him that over the years, she often imagined what her biological father would be like, only to find that he was more amazing than she could ever have pictured. After all, he can even fly -- he was supposed to be her Superman. She leaves the room in tears. Nathan later finds her waiting at a bus stop. She asks what time it is, but he doesn't have his watch. Instead, he produces the necklace Claire sold and fastens it around her neck, telling her he's heading back up. He asks her if she's coming, and she follows him.

Turn and Face the Strange

Nathan and Claire examine a map on the side of a road before flying away together. They land in the Coyote Sands and meet up with Angela and Peter. Peter, furious at the arrival of his brother, storms off. Claire goes after him. Later that night, the two of them are back with the group and helping to dig up some of Angela's past. After Nathan discovers a body in a shallow grave, Angela becomes very emotional. Claire comforts her and notices a familiar car pull up. It is her father, Noah.

Graphic Novel:Scenic Route

Along with Nathan and Peter, Claire digs into the earth of Coyote Sands as Angela speaks with Noah over her cell phone.

Later, after Noah has helped West and Alex evade capture, he says that Claire must never know about this. Both West and Alex respond awkwardly, and Noah says that he doesn't even want to know what happened between Claire and each of them.

1961

After digging throughout the night, Claire, Nathan, Peter and Noah Bennet continue to find graves in Coyote Sands. Angela Petrelli stands away from the group. Peter uncovers a baseball glove and asks why they have to unbury the graves. Nathan tries to tell Peter to give Angela time, but Peter gets angry and walks off. Claire chases him and asks him to give Nathan a chance. Peter tells her she's been charmed and walks towards his mother, leaving Claire to continue digging.

After talking to Peter, Angela calls the group inside one of the barracks to tell them about 1961. She reveals that Coyote Sands was an internment camp to "cure" evolved humans. Claire asks her the outcome, but Angela doesn't know. She escaped with a few other "lucky ones". Peter doesn't understand why they have to be there, and Angela reveals she's been dreaming about her sister being alive. She believes they need to find Alice's body and give her a proper burial. Peter gets angry that Angela kept Alice secret, but Nathan sides with his mother. Angela states they made everybody forget, prompting Claire to ask who was involved. Angela tells them that the Company was founded from the survivors on the idea of keeping Coyote Sands from occurring again. Angela and Noah were trying to fix the current situation from the inside, but Danko figured it out. Claire finally understands why her father was helping Nathan. Angela starts talking about restoring the old methods of the Company, prompting Claire to ask if she means erasing people's memories and murder. Angela tells her it is a necessary evil. Peter is uncomfortable with the idea and states that it's wrong. Peter blames the Company for tearing their family apart and refuses to be part of it again, flying off angrily. Nathan tells them he'll talk to Peter and takes chase.

Later, Claire approaches Angela about her sister and asks why she kept her secret. Angela asks where Noah is, and Claire reveals she wanted some alone time with her grandmother. Angela tells her she is close to the age Angela was when she first arrived at Coyote Sands. She tells Claire that she's confident and courageous, but Claire denies being special. Angela points out that Claire dug up graves without it bothering her, and believes that if she were more like Claire, things would have been different. Claire sits quiet for a moment before bringing up Alice again. Angela avoids answering the question directly and instead implies she feels guilt over the subject. The wind suddenly starts blowing fiercely, creating a sandstorm. Claire asks where it's coming from, prompting Angela to reveal that it's just like in her dream. She says that it's Alice before running outside, calling out for her sister. Claire also runs outside, but she's concerned for Noah. The storm gets too bad for her to see and she pulls Angela back inside.

Noah calls for Claire as he tries to make his way through the sandstorm. He trips and is dragged off by Mohinder, who has come to the camp looking for information on his father.

The storm continues as Angela tells Claire she tried to warn everybody. She saved Alice. Claire asks why Alice would send a storm, and Angela accuses Claire of not believing her. Claire reassures her that it's just a storm, but Angela insists Alice is behind it and runs outside again. Claire chases her again, but when she gets outside finds that Angela has disappeared. Nathan and Peter fly up and Claire tells them Angela is missing.

After Peter and Mohinder aid Angela and Alice disappears, Claire climbs into Noah's SUV as Peter and Mohinder say goodbye. They got to Coyote Sands Cafe, where Angela stands in the doorway and watches as the rest of them enjoy a lunch. Nathan draws Angela to the table and she begins to tell them that she wants to start another company, but Peter wants them to work as a family. Nathan tells them he's going to talk to the President and start using his political power to fix things, but Claire notes that he already has. Looking up at the television, they see a second Nathan giving a press conference. Noah reveals it's Sylar, using his new shape shifting ability.

I Am Sylar

While talking with Noah, Angela, Nathan and Peter about their situation in the Coyote Sands Café, Claire notices a second Nathan on a live conference, and calls the others attention to it. Noah reveals it is Sylar in disguise. When Nathan declares he's going to fix the mess he started, Claire tells him that they, his family, can help him. Nathan shrugs them off and flies off to stop Sylar alone. Peter gives the family a look before chasing after him.

Later, Angela, Claire and Noah, who is driving, are heading down a highway when some they notice some emergency cones and a truck. Claire looks at Angela, who is sleeping, while Noah rolls down the window. A van suddenly pulls up and Homeland Security Agents jump out. They surround the car with their weapons drawn.

Webisode:Nowhere Man, Part 1

Claire meets Eric Doyle at night and gives him his new identity: Jason Tyminski. She says that she is giving him a chance to start over again in order to fulfill her own needs, not his. She asks Doyle if he truly intends to start anew, but Doyle says nothing and walks away.

An Invisible Thread

Noah Bennet drives an SUV through Arlington, VA, with Claire riding shotgun and watching Angela dream. They pass a construction zone that Noah finds suspicious. Angela wakes up and says they need to get to Nathan, fast. Noah pulls over and tells Claire and Angela to walk to Washington, DC, as he knows that they've been spotted. The two women travel to the Capitol Building as Noah triggers a trap and gets captured by Homeland Security. Angela tells Claire she needs to go find Matt Parkman. She only wanted to make sure Claire got to Nathan safely, but her dreams showed Matt would save Nathan. Angela bids her granddaughter farewell and Claire makes her way to the front desk.

After Sylar unsuccessfully tries to wake an tased Nathan in Nathan's Senate office, an aide comes in and informs him that a woman claiming to be his daughter has arrived. With his back turned to the aide, Sylar shape shifts into Nathan and tells her to send Claire in. Claire enters the office and asks him if got Sylar. Sylar claims that he escaped and was making his way to the Stanton Hotel to meet the President. Claire is unsure if she's speaking to her father, prompting Sylar to tell her he's Nathan. He then fondles her necklace, using clairsentience to receive memories of Claire and her father in Mexico. Claire smiles as Sylar repeats what he learns, apparently satisfied. She tells Sylar she wants to help save the President. Sylar hesitates at first, but then tells her he was thinking the same thing. He grabs Nathan's jacket and the two head out to the Stanton Hotel lobby. Liam Samuels greets Sylar, believing him to be Nathan. Using clairsentience again, Sylar introduces Samuels as Nathan's old friend from boarding school. Claire, however, recognizes him as the White House Chief of Staff. Sylar then signs in with security as Nathan Petrelli, but habitually uses his left hand. Claire notices, prompting Sylar to state he's ambidextrous. Claire eyes him suspiciously as he calls her over to the elevator, but follows him anyway.

Claire is led to the Presidential Suite, where she takes a seat on the love seat while Sylar stands on the balcony. Claire's phone begins to ring. She pulls the phone from her pocket and is stunned to see that it's Noah calling. She looks up at Sylar with uncertainty, and he freezes her in place with telekinesis. He shifts into her form and answers the phone. He shushes Claire playfully as he tells her father she's with Nathan. When Noah asks him if he's certain Nathan's not Sylar, Sylar changes back into himself and tells Noah that he is certain. He hangs up the phone, and then smells of Claire's hair. Sighing contently, he informs Claire he's having fun.

Sylar takes a seat on the couch across from the love seat as he uses his telekinesis to force Claire into retrieving some wine and glasses from a nearby cabinet. As Claire serves the wine, Sylar reminds her that everybody she knows will die one day; Nathan, Mama Bennet, and even Mr. Muggles. He forgets her brother's name, calling him "Larry". Claire corrects him, and Sylar tells her that he's going to die too. Everybody dies, except for them. Claire is forced back into sitting across from Sylar. He takes a sip of his wine and informs her that he met his biological father and it was disappointing. He then gets up and takes a seat beside Claire, pointing out what they have in common as he does so. Claire tells him she will kill him, but Sylar asks what she is going to do after a hundred years of trying to kill him and watching her loved ones die. When Claire doesn't answer, he tells her that maybe one day she'll come to forgive and possibly love him. He scoots close and flirts as he forces Claire to take a sip of wine. She struggles against her hold as he pets her cheek, causing Claire, in disgust, to tell him she will always try to kill him. Sylar is unimpressed with the threat, again commenting that Claire might one day be his first First Lady.

When Nathan and Peter arrive at the Hotel, they are informed by the Special Services that Nathan's already registered in the building. Liam Samuels personally handles the matter, allowing Nathan to convince him to hold off sending human agents after Sylar. The Petrelli brothers then make their way to the presidential suite. As they approach the double doors, Sylar throws Claire through them. She crashes against the wall, and then tells Nathan and Peter to go fight. The two brothers both fly into the room, with Sylar electrocuting Nathan as the doors slam shut behind them. Claire rushes to her feet and tries to get into the room, but something holds the doors. She is forced to watch through the crack as the room lights up with electricity and an unseen battle commences. The hold on the doors releases and Claire rushes into the room, finding it to be empty. Peter rises up from behind the couch, injured and unable to fly. Claire and him then head out to find Nathan. Unbeknownst to them, Sylar and Nathan fly back into the room shortly after, and Sylar kills Nathan.

Claire and Peter run downstairs and into the lobby, where they decide to split. However, as Claire starts to head off, Noah appears with his gun drawn. He asks if Peter is certain that Claire isn't Sylar, and Peter reveals that he just fought Sylar. Noah is convinced and asks if Peter can do what Sylar does. When Peter nods, Claire excitedly states that Peter can stop Sylar. However, they are interrupted when the Secret Services burst in from behind Noah. Claire steps in front of their guns, telling them that they can listen to her before or after they shoot.

Claire then stands aside as Peter uses his borrowed shape shifting to become the President and tranquilize Sylar. Noah sends her and Peter off to find the missing Nathan as he takes Sylar's body upstairs. Stating that he doesn't know how much time he bought them, Noah and Angela convince Matt Parkman to use telepathy to make Sylar believe he is really Nathan Petrelli. Noah then retrieves James Martin's body from Building 26 and they burn it on a pyre in a funeral for Sylar. Claire attends the funeral, along with Peter, Angela, Matt, Noah, Hiro, Ando, Mohinder, and Sylar, who lights the pyre. Claire states that she finds it hard to believe Sylar's really dead, and Noah gives her a hug and states that he really is.

Heroes Evolutions

Operation Splinter

In chapter 4 of Operation Splinter of the iStory, the Primatech contracted player and another agent find a file on a teenager named "Claire Bennet" in a file cabinet in Red Eye's former apartment. The file states that she has an ability, and the player deduces that her file was among those that Red Eye compiled for Gael Cruz as the Kill Squad's target list.

The Agent

In chapter 1 of The Agent, Rachel Mills listens as Danko notes that the senator's daughter turned the transport flight into a National security emergency and points to her. Several agents stand around the daughter, and her hands are tied behind her back.

Suddenly, Rachel feels a burst of air and another blond girl appears, and then both the new girl and the senator's daughter disappear. Next, Rachel hears people say that Claire has disappeared, and pieces together that Claire is the senator's daughter's name.

Shortly thereafter, Danko sends both a main search party and a separate squad led by Rachel after Claire and the other detainees. He gives Rachel explicit orders that if something happens with the main search party, she is to capture Claire by any means necessary. Danko also answers that if capture is not possible, Claire should be killed by a shot to the back of her skull.

The search parties locate Claire and the fast girl next to the smashed tail of the plane. However, before a proper ambush can be organized, the fast girl stands up as if she might take off and Gibson opens fire. His shots send the fast girl and Claire onto the ground, and then he pauses when another fugitive faces off with him. The other agents keep firing, but Gibson is forced to shoot the other recruits in the main search party and Rachel's squad. Danko shoots Gibson dead before he can kill Rachel, who is the only recruit left standing from both parties. The other fugitives then flee, leaving the fast girl's body and Claire. Danko then produces a tie and takes Claire prisoner.

In chapter 3 of The Agent, Danko sends Rachel Mills and Jason Pierce to Costa Verde, CA, on a mission to track down and capture Alex Woolsly. He also informs them that Claire is in the same town and may have helped Alex in escaping prior capture. Danko instructs them to inform him if they get any evidence that Claire is involved, and then await further orders.

While in Costa Verde, Jason gets security camera footage streamed to his cell phone from a camera that covers an alley Alex drove through in his car with Claire. Rachel briefly sees the video on Jason's phone, but Rebel deletes it off of Alex's phone and their organization's server.

Later, Rachel talks with Alex's friend, Liliane, and learns that one of the workers at Sam's Comics told her he saw Alex with a blond girl shortly before Alex disappeared. The witness didn't know the girl's name, but Rachel suspects it is Claire.

In chapter 4 of The Agent, Claire tells Rachel Mills and Jason Pierce they shouldn't be there when they search her house looking for Alex Woolsly. When Rachel stands near the pantry, Claire glances at her adopted mother. After Rachel searches the pantry and doesn't find anything, Claire says something sarcastic to her.

In chapter 6 of The Agent, Jason Pierce says that Rachel risked everything to go after Claire Bennet. Later, Anna Korolenko says that she knows Claire.

The Civilian

In chapter 5 of The Civilian, Claire and her friend Store arrive in Lyneboro to help Leona. Upon arriving, they find Rachel Mills locked in a horrible nightmare. In the dream, Rachel begs Claire for forgiveness. Claire wakes Rachel up and they discuss their past, eventually forgiving each other. Claire then accompanies Rachel to the town hall where they find Kelly and Cooper, who has just killed Chief Parker. Kelly warns them all to leave but Claire, Rachel and Store manage to talk Kelly and Cooper out of having a massive gang war with the city gang. Later, Claire discusses everything with Rachel and Leona.

Faction Zero

In chapter 1 of Faction Zero, Claire works in Sam's Comics and allows her boss Vic to have a day off. Suddenly, Eric Lee Harrison, a former Building 26 target, enters the store and asks Claire for her help regarding a fake marraige engagement. Before Claire can help, Rachel Mills enters and Claire makes Eric hide. Rachel asks Claire for her help but before Claire can answer, Sandra Bennet enters the store, forcing Rachel to hide with Vic. Claire learns that Sandra and Lyle may not be home later that evening and Sandra leaves. Finally, Claire agrees to help Rachel find Mensen. She and Rachel capture Mensen and attempt to interrogate him but he is shot dead before they can get any information. Later, Rachel worries for Claire as she believes Mensen was killed on a mission to capture Claire.

In chapter 2 of Faction Zero, Claire and Rachel speak with Lieutenant Lenks about Mensen's autopsy. Rachel decides that she should investigate the murder on her own. Claire returns to the comic shop and talks with Vic about Rachel. She also helps Hiro and Ando with their quest by giving them more comics. A woman enters the shop and makes Vic leave. She then tries to get Claire to hand over her keys but Hiro and Ando stop her. Claire demands to know why Alethea is there and Alethea reveals that Building 26 is after her. Claire tells her not to worry, as the government operation has been stopped. Alethea tells her that an agent is after her and that she needs her help.

Claire organizes Hiro and Ando to stand outside and keep an eye out for the agent while she watches Alethea. Alethea reveals that she is the leader of a special group and asks Claire if she, Hiro and Ando are part of a group. Claire tells her no and then receives a message from Ando, which tells her that they have spotted Rachel talking with an agent. In the shop, Agent Penn bursts in and tries to attack the girls. Claire gets Ando, Hiro and Rachel to teleport in and she watches as Alethea deals with Penn. Later, Rachel, Claire, Hiro, Ando and Alethea discuss all that happened. When Vic returns and asks what happened, Claire tells him the truth by saying that they fought off an intruder with their powers. Vic calls Claire a kidder and then walks away when neither Claire nor Rachel laughs.

In chapter 3 of Faction Zero, Claire tells Rachel that she cannot help her as she needs to spend time at home. She returns home and speaks with Sandra, telling her that she has been helping former Building 26 fugitives return to their normal lives. Sandra is initially upset with her but then forgives her. There is a knock on the door and a woman named Magdalena Muller enters the house, asking for Claire's help. Markus Gaines also arrives, using his mastery over animals to summon ferocious dogs to threaten the women. He demands to know everything Claire knows about Sabine Hazel and when Claire insists that she knows nothing, he makes the dogs attack the women. Claire tries to fight while protecting Sandra but is unable to stop Markus. At that moment, Rachel, Hiro and Ando appear and Rachel helps Claire fend off "Wildman".

In chapter 4 of Faction Zero, Claire tells Sandra that she will be informing Rachel that she can no longer help her. When she finds Rachel, she sees that she is in the middle of a heated argument with Leona. Claire notices that Rachel is acting strange and before she can say anything they receive a message from Micah. The girls meet with Micah at Sam's Comics and agree to help him stop Eric Thompson, Jr. Claire and Rachel accompany Micah to Katherine Murry, who uses her contacts to rally a team for Micah. When Rachel announces that she will be going after the fire breathers, Claire tags along.

Rachel refuses to divulge why she is acting so distant, which worries Claire. After learning all that they can from the fire breather family, Claire tries to get Rachel to go with her. Rachel refuses and Claire becomes worried. After a few words, Claire manages to get Rachel to leave with her. The two of them meet up with Micah at the comic shop and learn of Thompson's plans for Sabine Hazel. Claire returns home and finds her family celebrating with the news that Claire has been accepted into college.

In chapter 5 of Faction Zero, Claire says her college goodbyes to Vic, who is saddened by the fact that she is leaving. Alex Woolsly shows up at the comic shop, surprising Vic, Claire and Rachel. Claire goes with Alex to his new home and he tells her about what he has been up to. He then gives her information about a warehouse that he believes Thompson is operating from. Claire, Rachel, Callum and Trevor head to the warehouse and teleport inside. They come across a trap that Claire is unsure they should cross. After a quick decision made by Rachel, the group finds that the warehouse is deserted. Callum is then attacked by Trevor, who reveals that Callum is a spy. Claire watches as Callum fades away. Later that night, Claire and Rachel discuss everything that has happened and Rachel leaves to follow the fire breathers. Claire returns home and begins to pack for college, commenting that this summer has been interesting.
