The Private
In chapter 4 of The Private, the girl's weird moaning attracts Rachel Mills to enter the medical ward of the biological warfare compound, where she is being held prisoner. Upon entering the room, Rachel spots the girl laying on a far table in a tangle of wires and tubes, and under a dim construction light. She appears to be about Rachel's age, light-skinned, but Rachel cannot tell her nationality.
As Rachel gets closer, she can see that her "table" is a tray, half-full of a blue-ish chemical that is being pumped in through a tube like a garden hose. Her arms and legs were swollen, bulging, as if full of liquid. The girl has IVs in both arms with her eyes half-open. Rachel notes that she seems unconscious.
Rachel then tries to free the girl, and she attacks Rachel. Rachel finds the girl very powerful that she thinks the girl will kill her. However, just then, the men outside come into the ward and the girl turns on them, allowing Rachel to escape.
The Agent
In chapter 1 of The Agent, Rachel remembers the compound prisoner that she found and thinks about what she could do.
In chapter 2 of The Agent, Rachel dreams that she is at Pinehearst lab, being interrogated by the girl she met in the desert lab in Iran. She notices the girl's stained skin, swollen arms and legs, and unfocused eyes, and that blue fluid is dripping from the girl's veins onto the floor.
When the girl lunges at Rachel, Rachel flees and the girl chases after her, snapping her limbs inhumanly fast and slapping her bare feet along the floor. Rachel escapes to inside a funeral home, but feels that the girl is still after her, so approaches the closed casket at the front of the room. She tries multiple times to open the casket, but can't get it to open more than an inch. Rachel then whispers, "Please, Mom", and a blue arm snakes out and grabs her wrist.
In chapter 4 of The Agent, Jason tells Rachel that he overheard her talk about a blue girl and what happened in her past mission in her dream the past night.
In chapter 5 of The Agent, when Eric Doyle is making Rachel hold a gun to her head, she remembers the blue girl back in Iran.
