Presumed Dead

These are characters who are currently believed to be dead because they have suffered deadly events, yet their death can not be confirmed for one reason or another (body not accounted for, known to be able to regenerate, etc.).

  • Claire Bennet seemingly died on June 13th, 2014 in childbirth despite her power of rapid cellular regeneration, but her death has not been confirmed. Her body is seen and Hiro Nakamura states that she can't be saved through time travel, but why her power apparently didn't save her is unknown.
  • Perrin Crocker caused a bus crash of which the only survivor was said to be Donald Essex. However, Perrin's death is unconfirmed and he could easily have survived due to his ability.
  • Ryan Hanover was dragged out of view by David Sullivan, and he hasn't reappeared since, and the laboratory where he was crumbled with him still in it, but his body is not accounted for.
  • Donald Essex was rendered unconscious and his body dissolved into water; however it is unknown if he is truly dead or if he can still reform himself.
  • Hiro Nakamura stayed behind at his home to battle several Harris clones after the rest of his allies were teleported away. Hiro was powerless at the time and was armed with only two swords while the Harris clones all carried pistols. The outcome of the battle is unknown, but Hiro has not been heard from since.
  • Farah Nazan was shot when running from Harris. While bleeding out, Farah gave Malina an envelope and told her to run, knowing that she could no longer protect her. It is unknown if her injuries were ultimately fatal.
  • Alice Shaw creates a storm which blows a door open that Mr. Lieberman was attempting to shut and he is struck by lightning. It is unknown whether or not Mr. Lieberman survived the lightning strike.
  • Becky Taylor was frozen by Tracy, possibly killing her.

"Death is the one thing that connects us all. Reminds us that what's really important is who we've touched, and... you know, how much we've given. Makes us realize that... we have to be good to one another."
