In the personal profile of the German, a link entitled "Evidence" directs users to Devin Patterson's PDA. On 9thwonders.com, Evsdropr posted a hint to the four character password to enter the PDA, asking users to find the code and claiming Devin took some photos using it. Once solved, users can enter the code and view a photo album of 16 pictures.

Parking ticket

The document in third image has the title "Strafzette", which is German for parking ticket. Although it is partially scratched out, the address on the ticket appears to match the address on his cousin's letter. Also, a date of 06 2008 is listed. Since only the month and year is listed, this is likely a license expiration date. There is also text written in a field that ends in "en". The word is likely "Kennzeichen" (vehicle registration number) and "B" is the first character of the number, meaning Berlin.

Shopping list

The sixth image contains a shopping list ("Einkaufszettel"):

  1. Eggs (Eier)
  2. Milk (Milch)
  3. Goat cheese (Ziegenkäse)
  4. Sausage (Wurst)
  5. Black T-shirt (Schwarzes T-Shirt)
  6. Breaded pork cutlet (Schweineschnitzel)
  7. Red cabbage (Rotkohl)
  8. Ski mask (Skimaske)
  9. Potato salad (Kartoffelsalat)
  10. Mustard (Senf)
  11. Juice (Saft)

Letter

Three of the photos appear to contain segments of a letter. The letter appears to have the same address as the parking ticket. It is addressed from Karl Lander Platz at 1441 11 W 307. The translation of the letter:

We do not talk anymore and have not talked with one another for a long time. I learned that you made money, and I need urgently your assistance, more than ever before, dearest cousin. I recently lost my job in the factory and Ada is very pregnant. I would really not like to look in such a way that I cannot feed my family. Would you be so friendly and send money to us, so that we can hold ourselves above water in this difficult time? A few thousand euros would be more than sufficient for us. I promise to pay you back the money again. I would be always grateful.

Sincerely yours, Karl

Berlin bank form

On the bank form is the word "Bankleitzahl" (bank code number). It is partially scratched out, but appears to be "1234 859 00".

Two of the photos appear to contain directions from an internet mapping website.
